A bit of an exaggeration but works
I do app work which means I need easy access to my phone and GPS when in the car. My old phone mount broke and was disconnected. Didn’t want to deal with trying a bunch of cheap ones and wanted something more heavy duty that worked.This is heavy duty. The suction cup/mount is oversized. Largest I ever saw for a phone mount. Also has a sticky goo to assist. It is all oversized compared to typical phone mounts. But, it is advertised as for truckers.I’ve been using it for nearly a month now. Mount is solid and has not came off once. Phone is held sturdy and does not shake and wobble.My car is unique in that where I was able to put it, it does not block my view. But due to it’s size, not everyone would be so lucky. I see other reviews complaining about it not sticking to textured surfaces, I did not try. Straight on cleaned glass has always worked best for phone mounts.

**Update, this was purchased in August 2023. During the summer of 2024 the heat did make the suction cup release from the dashboard. To reattach I cleaned the dashboard with alcohol just in the small area and used water to restore the tacky suction cup and then reapplied. This does work but during hot days, it does release repeatedly. The phone mount attached to the arm has stopped releasing the phone using the release button. I have to pull the phone out and push in without using the button. The knob that tightens the back of phone mount attachment will not tighten any further and the phone slowly moves downward and will not stay in position to view the GPS.August 2023 purchase review:I absolutely love this phone mount. I installed it in my 2013 Ford Edge. I was tired of the cheap flimsy mounts and ordered this mount. I first washed my dashboard with soap and water then cleaned the area with rubbing alcohol, let air dry. The alcohol did not hurt my dashboard at all. The adhesion was great and my dashboard is lightly textured. I have used it every day. I am a realtor and work from my car almost all day. BEST phone mount I have ever used.

Seems like a good stand. The reach is as expected and advertised. The adjustability is good very versatile stickiness is good good value it’s sturdy however thinking of returning it because it just doesn’t fit my setup.

Stopped sticking after a month
I purchased this phone mount about a month ago, and it no longer sticks to my windshield. When I first installed it, the adhesive was strong, but over time it lost its grip. I’m a truck driver and I switch trucks every day, so having a reliable mount is important but this one has become inconsistent. I tried cleaning it, wetting it, and reinstalling it several times. It will sometimes hold briefly, but it eventually falls off again. I’m including a video to show how the suction fails. Overall, I expected it to last much longer.

One Time Use ?!?
Pro:This is a very strong, heavy duty phone mount.Con:After detaching it from my windshield to a slightly different location, it now won’t stick/mount.For the price the quality is great but, for a ‘one time use’ is a bit weak (no pun intended)

This phone holder works great in the bathroom to hold my phone in the bath. The suctions cup is quite large but holds really well on the tile. It has multiple adjustment points that can be firmly set by tightening or left a little loose if you want to frequently adjust (youll want to lock them in place if using in the car/truck. The phone holder is nice and large and holds my iPhone in a waterproof case with plenty of room for something larger. This is huge but that’s exactly what I was looking for and I love not having to hold onto my phone in the bath.
