TP-Link Nano 2-in-1 USB Bluetooth WiFi Adapter
TP-Link Nano 2-in-1 USB Bluetooth WiFi AdapterI’ve been using the Archer T2UB Nano for a while now, and it’s one of those small tech accessories that punches way above its weight.Setup and CompatibilityInstallation was simple: plug it in, disable any conflicting built-in WiFi/Bluetooth, and Windows picked it up quickly. It supports Windows 7 through 11 for both WiFi and Bluetooth, but it’s strictly PC-only (no Mac/Linux/TV support). That’s worth keeping in mind if you’re hoping to use it cross-platform.Performance – WiFiThe dual-band AC600 speeds are solid for such a tiny device. On 5 GHz I saw stable connections near the rated 433 Mbps, which handled HD streaming and video calls without issues. On 2.4 GHz, speeds are naturally lower (~200 Mbps peak), but still reliable for browsing and lighter tasks. WPA3 support is a nice bonus for security, especially on public networks.Performance – BluetoothBluetooth 4.2 worked flawlessly for connecting my headphones, mouse, and even a PS4 controller on PC. Latency was low enough that gaming felt smooth, and range was decent given the size. Just note you’ll need to disable any internal Bluetooth to avoid conflicts.DesignThe nano form factor is excellent – it barely sticks out from the USB port, so I can leave it in permanently even when moving my laptop around. Build feels sturdy despite its tiny size.Bottom line: For under $20, this adapter is an easy 5/5. It’s compact, reliable, and effectively turns an older desktop or laptop into a dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth-capable machine. Great value if you need a simple, no-hassle upgrade.

Super compact with decent performance. Great for laptops.
Due to a botched repair (My fault…again…) I had to convert the WLAN card slot in an older Yoga laptop to use an compact SSD card instead. This meant that the laptop no longer had onboard WiFi or Bluetooth. I am a retired Wi-Fi field engineer and I know a bit about client performance.First priority here was preventing damage to the USB port, which meant it had to project less than a half inch from the body. It also had to provide Bluetooth. My expectations for performance were minimal and I expected all kinds of grief from power management turning the adapter off during sleep, doze, etc. This adapter more than meets this size requirement.-And surprise surprise, it works much better than I’d hoped. It easily saturates my cable modem link (150 down, 15 up) and more importantly, the link is consistent during Teams meetings and voice calls. The AP I’m using is 10′ away on the other side of a kitchen wall. My PHY rate is 250mbps as I write this (5Ghz, 80mhz channel, 1SS, Wi-Fi5/AC link) and the external mouse is BT connected. Too much attention is paid to signal strength and even data rate. What really matters is link consistency and this thing hits the mark.I’ve been using it for weeks and don’t remember having any link drops or issues waking up from power save. There was one occurrence where the laptop went to sleep during a Google Voice call, and the stream was interrupted. It came right back after wiggling the mouse. (BT has been flawless). It’s a little expense in my opinion, but as far as I know this is the smallest USB WLAN adapter out there so maybe it’s worth the premium. It does allow me to keep this old (But expensive) laptop on the road for another year or two. It dropped right in to Windows 11 without any manual driver installation. My network is WPA-2 so I can’t speak to WPA-3 support.I also messed with the super-cheap adapters you can by on the direct-from-china sites. Don’t bother. While the size is right, they are consistently awful, even at $5. If you need a tiny Wi-Fi adapter, get this one.

Very Nice product
Works as advertised. Win 11 did not need the driver disk. I would recommend as a nice solution for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Tiny and immediate
Got the WiFi AC600 x Bluetooth 4.2 adapter–it’s tiny and it works right away. The only thing is it’s fragile, I had it in a USB port carrying in a laptop bag and it fell apart. My older HP laptop picks up most WiFi networks but it wasn’t detecting Xfinity Now city-wide hotspot; onboard Bluetooth didn’t work. I had wondered how this adapter would show networks on the laptop in addition to the onboard WiFi. On Windows 11 it appeared in the tray menu as “Wi-Fi 2” alongside Bluetooth. Tested both, working.

Useful but not reliable enough for critical or more than basic environments
Works and is easy to use, but sometimes the PC stops detecting it and you have to re-connect it to get BT and wifi back

Plug and play
Quick, easy, cheap way to add WiFi capability to your computer without having to go inside to replace a wifi card. Works great!

Heaven sent!!
This is heaven sent!! My laptop’s WiFi went out a few years ago and I just couldn’t get the problem figured out until I heard about one of these from a friend. It INSTANTLY worked soon as I plugged it in… been on WiFi since. Saved me from having to get a new laptop 😮💨🙌🏼

It is possible to work on some linux systems.
I got this to use on an mx-linux system. I had trouble setting up the driver for a tp-link AC1300 (archer t3u) a few months previously, but I needed bluetooth. This adapter worked perfectly with no additional driver installs.

Aldığımda Windows’da denemiştim, kullanması çok pratik değildi.Başkalarında işe yarayabilir ama gerekmedi sonra.Satmak zorundayım maalesef.Çok az kullandım.

Honestly great product for its function. I’m writing on the internet right now with it. But why oh why did the designers include a green strobe light on this. Every 2ms I get a very useful blink to tell me that it is on…

This is a review for TP-Link’s Archer T2UB Nano USB adapter. This adapter is based on Realtek’s RTL8821CU chip.Specs are in the product description, no need to repeat them.Installation on a Windows 10 system went well with provided drivers, and everything works well, nothing negative to say… except it runs hot, normal for such a small package.WPA3 security is welcomed, but you might need to tell your router to use it exclusively. For Linux users:The T2UB doesn’t officially support Linux in the description (or even TPLink website), but driver support has been available in recent Linux kernels. It worked natively, “out of the box”, in a Linux Mint 22 distro (kernel 6.8.x). So we don’t have to compile the ‘rtw88’ driver for it anymore!
