I was pleasantly surprised at the quality
The Good, the bad and the uglyThe good, these head rest hooks fit around a headrest very strongly and provide additional flexibility of being able to hold a large cell phone so you can show videos to those in the backseat, particularly children and toddlers.The hook also works well.The bad.While these were easy to put on, they can be difficult to take off. So don’t make the same mistake I did and initially place these on the outer headrest post since that will be closer to the window and allow glare onto any cell phone videos. To remove this I had to remove the headrest and really twist and turn to get it off. Then I reinstalled the headrest and reapplied it to the inner post so they would be less glare and if they’re two car seats in the backseat both occupants can see the video.The ugly.It’s not necessarily ugly, but the bright bright chrome trim on the top is likely going to fade or come off over time. I would have preferred several choices of colors, including an all black headrest hook and perhaps some people who have lighter colored interiors would prefer a tan gray or white option. Manufacturer / seller you should consider adding a lighter option or even providing decals for those who want to cover over the bright Chrome plastic with black or another color.All in all I was very impressed with this product and would highly recommend it

Good product, rotate too freely
My husband loves these. They clip on easily and rarely fall off. The hold a lot of weight- even 4 2-liter bottles of soda at once. My only issue is the rotate a little too freely. If I forget to check the seat before I sit down, I get painfully poked in back because the hood has spun around to the front.

A sturdy and super convenient way to keep your purse secure!
Ok, so I carry a purse with everything plus the kitchen sink in it and it is heavy! I was hesitant to buy this but am thrilled that I did! It holds my purse up and out of the way and the mechanism moves smoothly making it a breeze to use. If you’re looking for something other than those cargo nets or barriers to keep your purse secure and off the passenger seat or arm rest, I highly recommend this!

Does the job well!
Already had the smaller bag hooks but needed to have the phone holder for my grand when travelling. This fit the build! Well made, easily attaches and the hook size more than enough for my needs. Holds my phone well with no signs of sliding out. A great value for the money.

Great for Bags! NOT for phones!
Great item—just not the right “fit” for me. It technically works, but it sits a little awkwardly when our phones are in their larger cases. That means we have to take the phones out of the cases, which is honestly nerve-wracking when preteens are hopping in and out of the car on road trips. One slip and boom, that phone is meeting its final destination.It’s definitely useful for road trips or casual drives, but not my top pick. The hook that attaches to the headrest was also a bit loose, so it didn’t feel as securely fastened as I’d hoped. I actually tried these only because most of the bigger phone holders don’t fit in my third row.But I will say—for the price and quantity, they make great bag hooks, so they’re not a total loss.

Was attracted to this product’s ease of install (and removal): a headrest hook that dbls as both a utility hook and cellphone holder for back seat riders? The phone holder part wasn’t the main hook (har-har) for me… the 360-deg security and ability to swivel around the front, was.The cantilevered mechanism is designed well, too. Something noticed with many, many PRC-sourced purchases in a long history shopping on Amazon… is often concepts that look and sound really good in theory (esp w/ tech) are executed in a stereotypical minimum-content fashion, disappointing and urging a return to the expensive brands that put the work in to make a long-lasting, reliable product. Strangely, don’t think this Toovren is one of those infamous gotcha fly-by-nighters.Sure, it’s not made to Swiss-watch standards — not priced for anything remotely approaching that. But the mechanism (function and execution of that function, always overrule every other data point) seems well-designed for the task it’s made to do. And when clipped on w/ the right tension… rotates around easily and w/o feeling flimsy or brittle (as maaaany similar ABS products over the years).Tbh, the only criticisms of the product I could have, is the chromed plastic atop it — just matte black would’ve been fine, but this isn’t a showstopper. Is thicker than carabiner-style dangling-cordura-strap products, so if you’re installiing on your driver’s seat esp, could possibly affect performance of the headrest in a crash.Other than that… impressed with the product. Five stars. Any issues, will update here ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
