Over priced, and takes a long time to connect.
This is the worst product ever. I’ve had it for about 4 – 5 months now and it takes so long to connect, Like with these gas prices I burn like one mile of gas just waiting for it to connect to my bluetooth. It is over priced! will be much better off if you get the 20 – 30 dollars ones. I never used the other options it has except for carplay.

Finally can watch movies in the car while waiting at soccer
TL;DR: Definitely worth considering if you spend a lot of time in your car. A few nitpicks, but overall I’m happy with how it works.I picked up this TOGUARDGO adapter because I spend way too much time sitting in my car waiting for my kids to finish their practices. I was tired of staring at my tiny phone screen and wanted something that would let me use the big display already in my dash. This magic box feels pretty solid and fits right into the USB port without being in the way. It was honestly a lot simpler to get running than I expected, you just plug it in and follow the steps on the screen to connect it to your phone’s hotspot. This actually surprised me with how well it handles the built-in video apps. I can finally watch Netflix or YouTube directly on the car screen, which is a total relief for those long waits. The picture looks clear and the sound comes right through the car speakers without any lag. It also makes my CarPlay completely wireless, so I don’t have to keep fumbling with a cord every time I jump in and out of the car. It connects on its own pretty quickly after the car starts up, which is a nice touch.I have been using it for a few weeks now and it has been really dependable for streaming. The dual-band wifi seems to keep things from buffering, even when I’m watching videos. It also has a slot for a USB drive, which is great if you have your own movies and don’t want to use up all your phone data. It is a lot of fun for the family on road trips, and it keeps everyone entertained while we’re parked. The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is that I’ve noticed a couple of little quirks. Some folks in the reviews mentioned slight issues with incoming calls getting declined automatically, and I noticed that too once or twice. I also had a bit of a hard time figuring out which way to plug in the cable at first because the instructions were a little vague there, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker. It’s a solid pick if you want something that adds a lot of features for a good price.Rating ★★★★☆

Easy to Set Up, but Connection Issues and Call Problems
This device is very easy to connect to the car. It’s essentially plug-and-play, and the initial setup is straightforward. When it works, it works well.Unfortunately, I’ve run into several issues after using it for about three months. First, the home screen date and time settings won’t stay saved. I’ve tried changing them multiple times, but every time I start the car the settings revert.Another frustration is that CarPlay doesn’t automatically load. Each time I get into the car I have to manually select CarPlay instead of it connecting automatically. The connection itself is also inconsistent. About every 6–7 trips the device disconnects, and reconnecting it requires several steps and switching between screens, which is not ideal when you’re driving. Once connected, there doesn’t seem to be any real lag.“Hey Siri” also does not work with this device, even after trying multiple setup approaches. My previous wireless CarPlay adapter handled auto-connection, Siri, and calls without these issues. The Netflix/YouTube feature is interesting in theory, but I personally don’t have much use for watching video in the car. What matters more to me is reliable connectivity, and I’ve also had several calls automatically declined when using this device, which is frustrating.Overall, it’s a cool idea, but it doesn’t quite stick the landing. For around $70, I’d rather have stable calls and seamless CarPlay than the ability to watch YouTube in the car.

Easy to connect and use!
This little box is pretty sweet. It is smaller than I thought so it’s easy to find a little nook or whatever in your car to stick it into near the infotainment system and it only requires the one cord (included) to plug into your car. You can either use USB-A to USB-C or USB-C to USB-C whichever your car supports. It is winter time currently and it handles the cold temps with no problem at all, I assume it would do the same in summer but unable to test that currently. Otherwise it was fully compatible with the car and functionality wise, its pretty much as simple as connecting and then it will remember that. Some cars have the ports that turn on when the car turns on and then off when you turn off the car. Those are awesome for this because your phone will just automatically get disconnected / reconnected when the car is on or off but otherwise once you get far enough away it will disconnect or after the car eventually powers off the port. Its pretty good quality wise as well especially since its just the little rectangle box like I mentioned. Overall I think its a great value for the money because it does get really annoying to connect your phone directly every time you are going somewhere and also tends to wear out the port on both the phone or the car.
