Quick Application For That Nice “Wet” Tire Shine
I used this tire shine on two vehicles over a couple of weeks, and the first thing that stood out was how easy it was to control the spray. The bottle sits comfortably in the hand, and the mist comes out in a steady, narrow fan, so I didn’t get blotches or drips running down the sidewall. I always clean and dry the tires first, and once I applied a light coat, the finish settled in within a minute or so. The tires took on a deep black color with a wet‑look gloss, but they didn’t feel tacky. The scent is mild too, which I appreciated because I’ve used products that leave the whole garage smelling like chemicals.For a water‑based formula, the durability was better than expected. After several days of mixed driving and a quick rinse from a garden hose, the sidewalls still looked dark and freshly dressed. I didn’t notice any sling, even after pulling out of the driveway fairly soon after applying it. Just a note: the shine is on the high side, so if you prefer a softer satin look, a quick pass with a microfiber towel tones it down nicely. I did have to remove a small stopper inside the bottle before the first use, and it was snug enough that I took my time so I wouldn’t splash any product.Overall, the performance is strong and the application feels straightforward. Nice, No Mess Formula Gives Great Shine!
One of the best things I like about this product is the formulation, as it isn’t slimy and messy. Most tires shine products provide a great shine, but can be messy. And if you get it on your hands, it’s tacky and icky. This product doesn’t do that1 I got a little on my hands, as is typical when applying a tire shine, and it wasn’t unpleasant! It washed off easily as well.One thing to note is that this product does not come with a spray nozzle, it’s just the bottle of tire shine, so you’ll need to order a nozzle as well or have one already. It arrived in great condition, with no leaks or any mess. They use one of the “bottle stoppers” to help ensure a leak proof delivery, nice touch. The directions are super simple and the product is very easy to apply with an applicator, or even just a shop towel. So far, so good on the shine. It’s a nice, even shine and I’m thinking two applications may be a good bet to help ensure the tire stays protected, and looking good. I feel like the product absorbed into my tire a bit so a second application may help the longevity of the shine. I haven’t had a chance to test the water resistance, nor the longevity of the shin, but will be happy to follow up later1
