Works good but its a little flimsy on the bottom part that holds phone

Unfortunately, it’s NO from me.
Hi, I loved the idea of hanging my cell phone to the side of the mirror. But, unfortunately this mount is a NO-GO…so let me explain. 1. Placement, this holder is quite awkward while trying to mount. It involves 2 spring loaded clamps of which you press down. Depending on your hand size and strength this has a few problem, and I found it to be quite problematic. I think the mount might be easier if it had a different way to clamp it. An example, a scissor type clamp so your hands don’t have clearance issues. Or even a woodworking type (F?) clamp. Or just a clamp that you could screw in from the bottom. 2. Position issues. When trying to set the clamp, again this should be re-engineered too. The arm of this mount is just not long enough for a decent position. I have a Samsung S21, and I could not mount the phone to the left side vertically. This of course means their is no-way a phone could be mounted to the side of the mirror…in a horizontal position. 3. Blocked Visual Issues. If you manage to get the clamp on the mirror, and the phone in the other clamp. You will now have issues with the amount of visual real estate that remains. I am in a very large truck (2015 Silverado 2500) with a huge windshield, and the mount/phone just took up too much of my view. 4. I think if the cell clamp, was approximately 1.5 inches wider it might a make a huge difference, not to mention a .75 inch deeper cell clamp again would be huge. My cell phone had to be taken out of my case to clamp it into the holder. Than is unacceptable. As for the Arm issue. If the arm had about and additional 4 inches(?) it would clear the mirror allowing vertical and horizontal positioning. The neck comes out, but just not enough. The design of the Rear View Phone Holder could be a really nice set-up with a few small modifications. But, as for now: I would not recommend this unit.

Wow. What a gadget
Awesome tool for cell phone. Adjust In Many different angles. Hooks right on rear view mirror. Super easy. Took all of 10 seconds to assemble and hang. Super strong and stable. We even use on golf cart. Would recommend
