The signal strength is incredibly weak
The signal strength is incredibly weak, even when I’m in the same room as the router. I constantly have to reposition the adapter just to get a halfway decent connection, and even then, it’s still slow and prone to dropping.

I spend a lot of time in traffic, so anything that reduces little annoyances matters. With wired CarPlay, it was always the same routine: sit down, plug in, unplug, repeat. This adapter basically removes that step. Once it’s in, CarPlay starts up on its own and I’m just driving. I don’t have to remember a cable, and I’m not doing the one-handed “find the port” move while balancing a coffee.The best part is the consistency. I’ll have maps running, music streaming, and notifications coming through, and it holds the connection like it’s supposed to. Audio comes through clean, and I haven’t had any weird skipping when switching between apps. The quick switch feature is also clutch in a shared car.
