This receiver is so nice and compact, easy to use with just one button to press. The flashing light codes are very easy to understand and it took less than a minute to get acquainted with. I don’t even need to remember to turn it off! After 10 minutes without being paired, it automatically does so. I just turn my TV off and hit the sack.My wife and I have been using this for the last couple weeks to watch TV (ours is a Samsung smart TV so it has Bluetooth as a sound output option, deafening the built in speakers). In a new house with our 6mo asleep in the next room over, we are worried about sound travel so we plugged two sets of wired headphones into this and paired it to the TV. Works like a charm!The sound quality isn’t perfect. There is some attenuation in the highs and lows compared to what we’re used to but the sound is crisp and clear regardless. We paired it with ATH M20s, so I don’t have a lot to go on with rating sound quality outside of those.I didn’t rate the battery life because we keep this plugged into a wall outlet at our bedside. It draws very little power (typ. <1W) from the wall so we leave it plugged in constantly.

Simple, basic, and it works just fine. Bought this to add BT to my Bose Wave IV. What is interesting is the dual outputs. Not really sure where this would come in use, but its there if you want it. Pairing was easy. I have not used it while not plugged in, so i cannot speak for the battery life. Sound is typical of any BT adapter, its clear, and sounds as it should. Size is larger than others I’ve seen, but its does have a nice low profile. Instructions are typical of a cheaper overseas item… not very insightful but there’s not much to know. Press and hold the button to turn on/off.

Overall these are decent Bluetooth audio adapters. They pair quickly, and have pretty good audio quality. Range between the adapter and your phone / laptop is very limited. In my experience anything over 10 ft and audio will begin to degrade. Two of these are used in vehicles, and have been perfect for that application. Those two units have been reliable for over a year, staying in the vehicles in all weather. The third unit was indoors in a climate-controlled office and that one failed, no longer taking a charge after just 1 year of service. Nothing I do will revive it.

Setup was quick and easy, literally up and running within 5 min of opening the box.The unit is has sufficient charge to set up immediately (though fully charging first is recommended), and it’s just a case of a 3 second press, unit powers on, connect your blutooth source device, connect the receiver to a suitable amp, play your chosen audio. DoneThe receiver is small and unobtrusive, comes with all required connection cables – and a usb charging cable, and it’s very simple to use. Sound quality is absolutely fine, no issues there, however, if you intend to watch any kind of video while using speakers connected to your device via this blutooth audio receiver then be aware that there is a small delay. While not enormous, it’s absolutely enough to notice and can be mildy annoying.At around only £15 at the time of purchase, the audio delay doesn’t come as a huge surprise. I only really bought it for music – so the delay doesn’t really matter to me, but it’s something to be aware of if you intend to use it regularly with video. I’ll be reviewing an alternative unit before long, so we’ll see how that holds up synch-wise.I’ve paired my unit up to an AIYIMA A01 amplifier – so my assessment of the audio is using this combo – though I can’t see why you wouldn’t get equally good results using alternative equipment. I was previously using one of the cheaper blutooth/amp combo units – but this new setup blows that out of the water. That being said, audio is subjective and I’m no audiophile – so my review is based on my bog-standard ears.To sum up, if you’re only intention is to listen to music then it’s a decent choice – it won’t break the bank, it’s quick to set up, easy to use, and the audio quality is pretty good.

The first device I received had a slight fault … contacted Sonru by email and next day I recevied a voucher to purchase a replacement (I was also offerred a full refund). Very good customer service.The second device works perfectly and I am using it in the car and in the home. Pairing is simple. Sound quality is very good and it is simple to use I haven’t used it for calls yet as I really only wanted it for music.You do need a USB charger (or a computer with a USB type A connector) … I had a spare Samsung phone charger which works fine.One word of warning (nothing to do with this device)… my Samsung phone assumes any audio device connected by bluetooth is headphones and tries to limit the volume. There is a setting in the phone settings under volume which you can turn off limiting if the limiting function kicks in otherwise all sound is limited even when not connected to anything else – silly design in Samsung/Android.

I use the product with high quality headphones to listen to TV. It was very easy to pair the device with my TV.My headphones are Sennheiser HD 570 over-ear type.The small (10x7cm) instruction booklet is printed in very small print, and I had to enlarge it on my photocopier to read it easily. I have deducted one star for this.I fully charged the unit before first use, as recommended in the instruction leaflet. I have listened to TV and Radio channels, with speech, rock and classical music. With the above headphones the audio quality was excellent. With the HD 570 the reception range was tested up to 8m line-of-sight from the TV with no dropout at all.I have not yet had the opportunity to try it with my iPhone using the built-in microphone.In my opinion this unit offers very good value for money (purchased for £17.10).
