I can say that as I’m aging, my spine is compressing more frequently than when I was younger. Lumbar support cushions are an extra plus to have for direct relief when even sitting is uncomfortable. In the car, or in home seating.I have a massage chair, that even on the lightest settings, gives very strong kneading motions when using it. I make it available to many who are in need of the comfort, therapy, or relaxation it provides. There are a few who find it overly strong, so I thought I’d use this seat & back support to buffer the strength of the movements while using it. This has really worked with super sensitive friends that love using the massage chair.The things I like about it are:* the silicone underside. It keeps the bottom seat pad from shifting, & keeps it in place if putting on a hard or slick surface.* It’s a thick pad, but it has a firm softness to it, so it makes whatever harder surface u put it on comfortable to bear for a long period of time.* I love that it’s 2 separate pieces if u unzip it at the middle point. Easy to split up, & just use one if u don’t need both.* It gives decent support, while providing comfort.These are pretty well made, seem like they will have a long life, if cared for. I would say quality is in the medium range. They can be used in a car, on school/sport bench seating, on office chairs, arena seating, sitting on sidewalks during parades or waiting in lineups, & the way I also plan on using them, at full day Conventions where seating is very uncomfortable.$38 seems to be on the higher end of the value scale, but I feel I can comfortably rate it in the 3-4 Star category.😊

I hated this cushion. I don’t know what’s wrong with it. Maybe my body’s not made right. But the lumbar support did not hit my lumbar and it just was not a comfortable fit
