This is such a fun and surprisingly useful little gadget. My husband uses it in his work truck and absolutely loves it. The dipper dips downward
I ordered this as for my longer trips from the Midwest to down south. It had great reviews and I thought it would make eating on the road easier.The good? It installed quite readily and securely into the grills of the vent. It’s designed to fit most vehicles which is nice. I used it in a 2015 Cadillac XTS. I like that it’s conveniently in front of me so I’m not looking down for the sauce.You can also remove the existing cup and install an already filled one. The unit also allows the rotation of the cup for fit.This was a two pack and on deal so the price was reasonable.The bad? Although it appears lightweight, it sags down. It causes the vent grates to bend downward. As a result, when I poured sauce directly into the cup, it spilled out. Dipping tenders caused it to spill more. Either the cup should be a bit deeper or you’ll need to put a lot less sauce in.In situations where you need to put the sauce directly in the cup, like above, it should come with a small carrying case to store the dirty cup. That would make travel usage more convenient. Despite the mess, it cleaned up easily in a rest area restroom.I’ve not yet tested where I put a restaurant sauce cup in the unit directly.Even though I am disappointed in my first use of this, I’d still rather have it than not. As a result, I’m giving it 3 stars. Just know that it has limitations.
