Worked for 2 whole months.
Died after 2 months once it started getting warmer (~75F). Device will connect w/ phone and audio will play but no video. After ~30 seconds or so, it’ll die completely (no audio and BT disconnect).I have 2 other similar adapters (not as compact as this which is what I wanted given the layout of the car its going in) and I’ve used them for multiple years.Out of return period, good luck with support. Going into the trash.

Nice little wireless CarPlay adapter
This works well. I bought it as an upgrade to a previous one from another manufacturer. That one cuts out completely when it loses Wi-Fi and the only way to get CarPlay back is to restart the car. This one thankfully will reset itself in that situation, so it’s an improvement. Looks nice and compact.Only negative (costing the star) is that it when you start the car, it auto loads, plays for a few seconds, then resets. After that it stays on. I’d prefer that it didn’t do that, but it’s not a dealbreaker. Perhaps a software update would fix that?

Easy to set up and actually works as advertised!
Actual buyer here. Not going to lie but I’m very impressed with the dongle. It’s a USB plug but has an adapter for USB C if you want that. Set up takes about two minutes. Plug it in and it will guide you through set up. Ensure that you don’t have any other Bluetooth devices that are connected at the same time. Every time I get in the car it takes about five seconds to connect and it is ready to go. I use Waze while driving and the system keeps up with no lag, Siri works well with no delay and I get all messages quickly. The battery drain is very little on the phone, 45 minutes of driving drained about 2 percent of the battery. All and all a good device so far! Highly recommended!! Use the coupon also! I save 10 dollars on the price!

Great when it works
I like the device and how it automatically connects me to my car but I have to unplug it and replug it in a lot now and it also connects when your car is off so if you get a call you won’t hear it

Great little device
After reading thru some of the reviews I’m not sure as to why some people are having issues with connection and the device loosing connection. Maybe those people have an older version of the Bluetooth? Not sure. I for one love the product and have am had no issues with it in the month I’ve been using it. Another one of the reviews said that it over heats so when driving I periodically feel it to see if it’s getting warm and it has never even started to get warm. Again not sure what’s going on with some of the other reviews but still might be with the car and not the product. If you’re on the fence I would get it and try it out you can always return it if you’re not happy.
