Trail-Ready Fire Extinguisher Holder: Some Assembly Required!
If you’re like me and prioritize safety while on the trails, this fire extinguisher holder is about to become your new best friend. This ABS plastic marvel is not only lightweight but also seems to be tougher than the nails I bent trying to install it.First off, it fits a range of vehicles because it’s just a bracket and hose clamps. Whether you’ve got a Bronco, a Wrangler, or a UTV, this holder has you covered. In my case, it was a CFMoto UTV, and while it was a bit of a puzzle to install, it was like a satisfying game of Tetris once I figured it out.The adjustable hose clamps are sturdy, which is good because I wouldn’t want my fire extinguisher to go rogue on a bumpy trail. The quick-release mechanism is a a bit tight, but appropriate for the application. Pull the red knob (really hard) and voilà, your fire extinguisher is ready for action. It’s so easy, even my dog could probably figure it out if she had opposable thumbs.Installation is straightforward if you enjoy a bit of a challenge. The lack of instructions turned it into a fun guessing game—thankfully, I enjoy puzzles. A bit of advice: play around with it a bit before committing to a spot. And don’t worry about the pin being tight; better that than having it fall out mid-bump, causing your extinguisher to play a game of “dodge the trail obstacles.”While it does its job well, the installation process could use some improvement. Instructions would have been a lifesaver, and trimming the extra length of the clips is necessary. Once in place, it looks decent and seems like it will last longer than my patience during installation.In summary, this holder is sturdy, secure, and easy to use. Just make sure you’ve got a bit of time and patience set aside for installation. Once it’s in place, you can tackle those trails with one less thing to worry about. Highly recommended for anyone who doesn’t want their fire extinguisher to become a projectile on rough roads!

I love this fire extinguisher mount!
This fire extinguisher mount is great!I’m big on safety. I keep multiple fire extinguishers in both my house and in my Jeep. I run a lot of electronics in my Jeep, lots of lights and a big stereo with a lot of power wires running around. Fire is always a concern for me.The big extinguisher I had in my Jeep was just rolling around the rear passenger foot well. I had looked at some other options but none really clicked with me. The velcro ones seem like they would be difficult to release in a high-stress situation, the hang-from-the-headrest versions won’t work well on my one-piece bucket seats. Then I saw this beauty.It not only holds my larger extinguisher but it comes with a quick-release mechanism: you pull a large round knob and the hole extinguisher comes loose! It’s incredibly easy to do, the knob is big and easy to grab under pressure, and easy to remove the extinguisher once you do. The worm clamps included can expand a lot and it would probably hold a larger extinguisher pretty easily.It was fairly easy to install, holds my extinguisher well, has a quick-release, and actually looks good on my roll bar.I’ll be getting another one in the future to mount to the other side.I highly recommend this!

Not as easily released as I would like… not a bad value however
First, if you have padding on your roll bars, this can be a bit tough to install. The larger set of clamps needed to be about 1/2 to and inch longer to make this easier. It does fit, but having the clamps be just a bit longer would make the process easier.The quick release does work, but you do have to work the pin out. Also, there were no mounting instructions included with the package, so I had to go back to the listing to figure out how to mount this. It really isn’t difficult, but clear instructions in the package would have made the process clearer.The attachment between the quick release (the part on the extinguisher) and the mount (the part on the roll bar) is a bit loose, so there’s a bit of noise. Of course, you won’t hear much in a jeep anyway. :)The price was reasonable (about $16 when I got it).

It works, with limitations
This isn’t the best fire extinguisher holder, but it works and it’s cheap.My first concern was hose clamps for mounting the holder to the roll cage and the fire extinguisher to holder. Nothing’s wrong with using existing tech or components, but this seemed a bit odd. The clamps work, but on a round roll bar, good luck keeping the extinguisher in any position other than hanging straight down. So I moved this to my Prowler, which has rectangular tubing. The mount stays right where I put it.I’ve not had a fire, so I’ve not had to rapidly get the extinguisher off. But I’ve removed it — not without a bit of effort.If you’re okay with the limitations, this is a bargain price on an item that works. But if you want something that mounts better, is easier to use, and one that can be used by a person unfamiliar with the quick release of this one, then you might want to look elsewhere.

Must Have
If you have a quad, this is a must have. When I took the course for first time ATV users, this was one thing they told us to have. A small fire extinguisher and holder for your quads and atvs. When you learn how easily they can catch on fire, you know its a must have. Usually due to lack of maintenance but it does and can happen. Its a super cheap addition that can save your quad and prevent a massive fire when in a trail. Sturdy and easy easy to install.
