Non Polarity LEDs is a is absolutely necessary for old GM cars!
To convert my ’78 Caprice to LED lights, I initially used polarized LEDs for the side markers, and these didn’t blink when the lights were off.With these non-polarized LEDs, they blink even without the lights on and are, of course, much brighter!Naturally, LEDs require a different flasher: the Novita LL552 works quite well. Also, check first whether the wiring is original; otherwise, you’ll be searching forever.

Bright, cheap, and quickly sent
These are THE BEST. I converted to LED a few years ago. Had 2 or 3 different types. Some worked, some don’t. I put these in my Dashboard it they are BRIGHT. Even with the dimmer turned all the way down, they are brighter than the brightest LEDs I replaced. Don’t know how long they’ll last but I’ve got extras for replacement.

These little guys work great for Turn/marker lights. They are not yellow like the other brand I bought, but these are truly Amber, which is exactly what they’re supposed to be.

Worked great in old amber housings not designed for LED
Cars designed for LED bulbs will put bright amber or red LED’s behind crystal clear lenses, which works great.Some old vehicles that came with weak incandescent bulbs use clear bulbs and amber or red lenses. When I put bright LED’s behind those colored lenses, what I got was a round circle of white light pushing through the colored lenses.These amber SMD type LED bulbs fixed that by projecting bright amber light on the sides of the bulb but not directly on the end where there no chips. As a plus, they are non-polarized, which means not having to test and reverse the bulb if they don’t work like is required of some LED replacement bulbs.
