Bet patient. I needed to delete and reconnect once to get it to work correctly.
Connected this to a 2020 Toyota 4Runner with my iPhone 16 pro. Initial setup is quick. I updated to the latest firmware as instructed. The good: The adapter is small. This connects super fast once I start my car, probably in a min or less. Phone calls appear clear and the other person on the line does not notice any distortion. Not any noticeable lag when using car play or apps. In my initial drive the adapter disconnected about 7 times in 20 min. I deleted the adapter from my phone and reconnected it. It has worked flawlessly the last few days. The bad: the adapter only sometimes appears in my saved car play devices on my phone, making it difficult to adjust the car screen app order or make any other changes.I have another wireless adapter from a different brand where you can watch Netflix and has features but it takes way too long to connect. I wanted something faster for my daily commute and then could use the other adapter on long road trips when I need those other features.

Great and easy to use
I have a pixel phone and a Kia, and it was an easy plug and play. The small size is what made me choose this one over it’s competitors, there is almost no real latency between pausing on Spotify or audiobooks. And it works just like the phone was wired in but now I can use a wireless charger mount for convenience

Does not work in all listed cars, but used it in another
The wireless dongle was perfect for my 2020 Mazda. Plugged in perfectly in the tiny USB space envelope, started automatically, and worked immediately.If you are buying this device for a 2016 Honda Accord, the car in which I had intended to install it to replace a bulkier OTTOCAST, do not waste your time. No amount of software updates or on-line instruction will help. (4 of 5 stars because the manufacturer’s description indicated it would work in the Accord)

Works in ND MX-5, with a couple issues
Fits perfectly in my ND MX-5. Relatievely simple setup. Hooked up wirelessy in my wired CarPlay Mazda with occasionally displaying a splash screen which looks like you need to do something, but just wait a couple seconds and that goes away. Streams music and navigates through AppleMaps And Google Maps just fine except that the first and last fraction of a second of each and every turn-by-turn instruction is clipped out. One other issue is it refuses to connect to 192.x.y.z to update or get to web-based configuration. Awaiting response to email to Ottocast….UPDATE…After working with Ottocast support to try updating, nothing worked. Still did not connect to 192.168.1.101. Even tried an alternate method, plugging in to laptop, but device not recognized. So I gave up and returned it.Again the only issue I was trying to fix was the clipping of audio nav directions on both Apple and Google Maps.

Purchased for a friend who had wired Android Auto. Set up is super easy, system recognized and displayed on the screen to further setup.Bluetooth connected immediately to the phone with no hassles.Everything functioned as if phone was wired , no loss of connection.Excellent for wired android play users. Tiny adapter, works well with some serious issues!
I was able to set up two devices: first an iPhone and then switched off before connecting an Android phone. The connection re-established immediately but there were some serious issues:1. The adapter remains on even when the vehicle is powered down and locked.2. When a phone connects, the phone disconnects from any existing WiFi network since it uses the adapter’s WiFi for communication.3. The adapter does not disconnect from Android Auto/Car Play unless you move about 20+ feet away from the adapter(car). The connection persists even when not in use (car is powered off), causing two problems: the phone battery drain due to android auto, and mobile data usage since phone does not have home wifi connectivity.4. There is no way to switch between the configured phones when both phone are in the car. You just need to wait for your luck!Overall, this device is good but has some significant drawbacks. I would recommend it only if you are not parking your car inside an attached garage.

Works well with two iPhones.
Have had this for several weeks and it works great. Easy install for Apple CarPlay use. Set it up to work with one iPhone and CarPlay came right up. I left it on maps and it came up every time the cat was used. After about a week I set up our second iPhone and once again CarPlay came right up. If both phones are in the car at the same time it will connect to whichever phone was used last. And if a different phone is in the car it automatically switches and brings up CarPlay within a short time. So it handles two phones no problem. Very pleased and would recommend this product.

Best wireless AA adapter I’ve tried
I’ve been wanting a wireless adapter for my 2020 Audi A5 to use with my Samsung Galaxy S25 ultra. I’ve tried carlinkit and the Motorola adapters, and neither worked. They would initially work and connect quickly, but after a week or so, my phone would disconnect and reconnect every 30-60 seconds. So I had tempered expectations for this.Initial installation was ok, but not the easiest. But that isn’t a big deal. It’s very low profile and is out of the way. It hasn’t disconnected yet and seems to have a very stable connection.The only downside is that sometimes it takes up to 2 minutes to load and connect to my car. Sometimes it’ll take 10 seconds. Sometimes I have to navigate my cars display to select my device, but it’ll say my device isn’t connected, then will show up again. I can’t figure out why it does this, but once connected it’s rock solid with no noticable lag.I’ll revisit this review after another few weeks to see if it’s still as stable and if I can figure out why it sometimes takes so long to connect. But, so far so good.

Lo he instalado en un Seat Ateca del 2017 y funciona perfectamente. Fácil instalación siguiendo el manual y las notificaciones de la pantalla. Para su correcto funcionamiento hay que activar el wifi, los datos, el bluetooth y el GPS del móvil.Cuando abres el coche llevas tú móvil en el bolsillo y automáticamente en unos segundos se conecta. Hay que tener en cuenta que el consumo de batería es mayor, primero porque no lo estás cargando mientras conduces y segundo porque tienes activado también el wifi, pero compensa. Recomiendo su compra.

Prodotto veramente ottimo, piccolo e compatto si collega subito e senza nessun problema; ha risolto la maggior parte dei problemi che ho sempre avuto collegando la macchina via cavo come Lag tra chiamate e navigatore su Apple CarPlay.

Works really well for maps/songs and has fast connection which is about 3 seconds after the power is on.A slight draw back i noticed when i was watching reels on Instagram and it had a slight delay in relaying the audio to the system. Despite that its a great product!
