Installed in 2021 Jeep Gladiator RubiconThe main reasons I chose this were size, connectivity and speed of response. The size was easy to get, the rest was from reviews. But, having the latest version and firmware helped me make my decision.InstallI installed this in my center console. Immediately, the prompts came up on my UConnect screen, it literally took a minute to complete and BAM! Instant CarPlay. The size of the unit does not interfere with going into my center console. It’s small, and stays out of the way. A good solid connection, I’m not worried about it falling out. I did research parasitic draw, but this unit hardly draws a load, and that connection in the center console shuts off with the key off.Phone connecting to JeepIt’s almost instantaneous! I just went out to my Jeep, I had started it remotely. After I hit the push button to start it the screen boots, it went right to CarPlay. Just as fast as going to my Sirius XM! Basically, I start my Jeep and CarPlay is running just as quickly as any other app on my screen. My phone is an iPhone 17 pro running ios 26.Drop outsZero, none, zilch so far. It has been a solid connection since I’ve started using it. Have not had any connection drop outs at all. Short drives or long, no issues.I bought this because the wired connection always dropped out. It was intermittent but it would happen at the worst times, I was sick of it. Once I found these devices I looked for the latest version in a small form factor. So far I’ve had no issues, it’s fast, small and easy to set up. I would highly recommend this unit.Pro-Tip for Amazon Prime members:Did you know we have free access to Amazon Music? I didn’t. I found out the same night I received this device. I loaded up the Amazon Music app on my phone, added it to my CarPlay menu and now I have a huge amount of music to choose from. They actually have some pretty obscure music to choose from. Put it this way, every song or artist that I could think of I found in the app, every single one. And they are constantly updating with new music. Through CarPlay (in the Jeep screen) I can access my playlists and pretty much anything else that’s on the phone app. Better yet, the steering wheel controls work to fast forward through songs and increase the volume, etc. I haven’t thoroughly explored all I can do, but so far I’ve seen enough. Oh, the sound quality was great, no different than XM radio. Which by the way, I’ll probably be dumping now. I was very close to paying for Apple Music, I’m glad I found this. Especially since I was already paying for it!!

So far I am loving it!
Been using it for about two weeks at this point and so far I have only had one time it came up and asked to repair with my phone. All I did was unplug it from the car and plug it back in and it was fine. The audio has sounded great( no different then the direct Bluetooth with my car (’21’ Explorer). And the connection takes 10 secs or less from the time I have started my car. the last one (different brand) died just over 3 years of having it. was not going to get another until I saw this one go on sale, glad I gave it a try, LOVE the size just hope it last for years.

Not reliable
I’m trying to use this adapter in my Kia EV6 with 2 iPhone 14s. After 3 days of using it, it reconnects the audio only about half the time. I have to unplug and replug the adapter to get it to connect to audio. It rarely switches to the second iPhone unless I push the button, even if the first iPhone isn’t anywhere nearby or is turned off. I’m going to try the Burnt Sugar adapter next, as I’ve read some positive reviews.

Not working well with two phones
Works well for one phone. For me – When two phones that ‘know’ it are in the car, it seems random which one will connect. It doesn’t seem that the button to simply switch between phones works as intended.

Easy set up
Worked immediately. Super easy set up. I installed it in my middle console out of sight. I love not having to plug my phone up as the cord came unplugged by the slightest touch. The only reason for 4 stars is that on occasion it glitches while playing music, and on occasion it takes manual set up through settings on my phone. Absolutely worth it!

No problems, works as intended. Plugged into my 2022 Corolla’s USB port for Android Auto and connected to Bluetooth and WiFi. No lag of any kind. Very easy to setup.

Very spotty
My partner and I needed a wireless adapter that has carplay and android auto. The switching feature is fantastic, although slow. This would be a good device if you solely use carplay. Connection overall is very slow for android auto. I’m not getting the advertised WiFi 6 connection. You can clearly see it’s WiFi 5 in the screenshot.Lag is minimal and actually surprisingly good for the most part. Sometimes connecting it leads to intense lag which makes me have to unplug and replug it. It’s a very inconsistent experience.Also the instructions for the different modes are very vague and offer no additional explanations as to what they change.

Easy to set up
It’s really easy to set up. You can even do it while having it just plugged into a power source. Connects instantly in your car and is really responsive. Sound quality is great I swear it sounds better than wired casting.

Bestellte die kleine Box für einen Austausch für eine Box mit Kabel.Klein und kompakt am USB Anschluss. Fein.Nach anfänglichen argen Problemen mit der Verbindung habe ich es nach dem Rücktausch im Auto auf die Kabelversion doch noch wieder probiert. Noch einmal alles upgedatet und nach ein wenig hin und her war alles eingerichtet. Nun läuft es stabil und verbindet sich sofort nach dem Start. Ich bin zufrieden.Der Support war leider keine Hilfe. Versprochene Rückmeldung kann bis heute nicht.Update von einem auf fünf Sterne für das Produkt.Getestet mit einem Corolla, BJ 2022.

Great bit of kit, tiny, takes up so little room. Once plugged in, it practically set itself up with me just needing to accept it on my phone. I have had one instance where it lost connectivity but I just pulled it part way out of the USB port then pushed it in again and it was up and running once more. Absolutely no lag on it, it is as though my phone is plugged into the port. Thoroughly recommended. There are cheaper adapters out there but I am not sure that they would match this for quality.
