Amazing device, excellent company.
I have been using these devices since my daughter first started driving. They are amazing. You can get them where they either plug into the OEM reader or can be hidden in a vehicle. Either work amazing. These devices have helped us recover a stolen vehicle. They give us peace of mind when one of us is driving in bad weather or late at night. We have actually had a couple break and the company has been more than excellent at stopping service until we get a replacement. You literally just have to text them and they will do anything that you ask. We have one in every vehicle that we own and we love this company. It cost about $12 per vehicle for service but when you consider the peace of mind that you get it is worth every penny. I literally would never go with any other company than Optimus. The battery life on the devices that can be hidden is amazing and adjustable. You can have it report more frequently or less frequently if you need to save battery life. They’re really just isn’t anything negative to say about these devices or this company.

Worth trying
This device came with almost a full charge. I opted to top off the battery prior to use. This couldn’t be any simpler to set up. The phone app is very simple to use and navigate. The ability to set up geofences and perimeters is excellent. The battery life set 1 – 2 minutes was sufficient for my needs. After close to 4 weeks the battery life was still at 60+ percent. Unfortunately, I think the accuracy for my needs could be thrown off due to the area. Parking locations were pretty much on point but the roads traveled shown to be a bit random and occasionally traveling thru wooded areas and even water.

Good Product
It’s a solid good product and the battery lasts a LONG time when charged properly and completely. The magnetic case is STRONG and stayed put with no problem in a moving pod. Tracked for almost a month on one charge. Only 4 stars because the phone app is not that user-friendly, but with improvements will get better. Recommend for tracking.

I previously had a Brickhouse tracker, which was decent. It did the job. But! I am very glad that I agve the Optimus a try. I am not regretting the purchase. The tracking is very accurate and on time!

Spoke with tech support prior to purchasing. They were GREAT.Product works fantastic. If you understand that GPS satellites move and are not PIN POINT accurate, then you understand why the device appears to “move in and around your neighbors house while your car sits in your driveway. It is Accurate within what seems to be less than 50 yards.I love it and plan on buying a second for our send car.The cost of this device is cheaper than paying for today’s higher interest rates after your truck is stolen.Don’t be cheap, buy a solid product. This is one of those Products.

Sort of worked, customer service was not good
It tracked and didn’t die like another GPS unit i tried but the interface is not great and the company is stingy. The GPS reports are very limited, the map function has glitches on the phone and the web interface and it wouldn’t be user friendly for longer term tracking needs (>~3 weeks.) Customer service was also useless in generating a refund. The app will not allow you to end a subscription so I had to fiddle with the interface on a computer to see that they charged me for the next month (even though it wasn’t being used at all in that month.) Greedy people.
