Fits Tesla 3 really well, easy to fold and store
At $25, this NEVERLAND windshield sunshade is a strong value and clearly designed with the Tesla Model 3 in mind.I ordered the vehicle-specific size for my 2019 Tesla Model 3, and the fit is excellent. Coverage is about 95%+, with only the extreme outer corners not fully snug due to the natural gap created by the circular frame against the windshield edges. In real use, this did not reduce effectiveness.Design & Fit:The laser-cut shape aligns very well with the windshield, A-pillars, and rearview mirror housing. The Velcro closure around the mirror helps eliminate the common top gap seen in generic shades. The reinforced frame holds its shape and does not sag once installed.A nice touch is the reversible look—you can choose which color faces the interior, allowing it to better match the cabin aesthetic.Heat & Interior Protection:The shade blocks a substantial amount of heat and sunlight. A Proper-Fitting Sunshade That Actually Covers Every corner
Pros x3 | Cons x1 Rating: PerfectFirst Impression: I’ve used this product for about two weeks before putting this review together. I’ve tried a bunch of generic sunshades in the past, including those two round foldable ones that kinda flop around. I’m tired of all the extra slack on the generic version so I wanted to give this one a try. This one ended up fitting way better than I thought, especially since it’s made specifically for the Model Y. It opens up like any normal shade with one side being black and one side silver, but the shape and the little details make it feel more dialed in for the car.Positives (3):1. The biggest win is the fit. It actually covers every corner of the windshield instead of leaving those weird gaps that let sunlight sneak in. The rectangular shape just works better for the Model Y’s big front glass.2. The material feels thick enough to block out a good amount of heat. I can’t measure it or anything, but you can kinda tell when you put it up that it’s not flimsy or thin. It holds its shape and doesn’t sag.3. The Velcro strap around the rearview mirror is a small thing, but honestly it’ makes a huge difference. The generic shades never stay put around that area, and this one just wraps around and locks in. Makes the whole thing feel more secure and less janky.Drawbacks (1):1. Price point is higher than the generic ones. But that’s expected since this is tailored for my car.Summary: Overall, the velcro around the mirror makes the whole thing feel more legit.
