Pretty quick and minimal space requirement
Minuscule wait time for CarPlay on a Subaru Outback; a few seconds faster than the adapter it replaced, which had a short cable protrusion. This one does not. I am pleased with my purchase.

The one trick I have to unlock my phone to get it to connect every time .. once connected your phone can me locked again till next hook up. Only one I have used that does that. Might be newest android auto that did it no clue.

It worked very well and connected quickly every time. Very little lag. None noticeable. The issue was that it got VERY hot. The plug was almost too hot to touch after a bit of use. Returned it for that reason. Were it not for that, I’d have been quite happy with it.
