Reliable Tracker at a Great Price!
This was very easy to set up and quick to pair with my Finder app on my phone. I put these on my kids bike after my son “lost” his bike. I was able to track the bike and keep track of where he is. i like that it came with a rubber magnetic holder and lanyard. I plan on buying another set to put on my luggage when i travel. I am very happy i bought this and wish i bought this sooner.

Beware some trackers that are simply Bluetooth and don’t support Androids Find hub. This tracker is the real thing even though it’s not as good as the Apple version.1) Supports Official Android find hub.2) Disposable user replaceable battery.3) Approximate 1 year battery life estimated.3) Square and a little bigger then a quarter.4) 350 foot local tracking range line of sight.5) Beep function.When you’re in close proximity these trackers work almost as good as their IOS counterparts. They can show you an approximate location from the last time a beacon from the tracker was heard. The app which is an official Android app can show you whether you appear to be getting closer to the tracker or farther away as you walk. Finally when you’re close you can send a message to the tracker that will make it beep. Unfortunately the beeping sound is not that loud. If you can’t hear well or if the tracker is underneath something it may not be loud enough.When the tracker is not near the Android Find network can be used. The tag does not have any GPS in it. It relies on Android devices that have GPS and a data connection to report the trackers location to a Google server. Android devices do that by listening for a Bluetooth signal from the device. Then your phone will show the approximate location and time someone else’s Android device heard a beacon from your tracker.In my opinion this tracker is not as good as the Apple Air tag when you have to rely on other Android devices from the network. Androids find hub network isn’t as mature as Apples network(mid 2025). I’m hopeful the gap will begin to close quickly though. At this time there simply aren’t as many Android phones to relay the signals from these trackers. The shortcomings aren’t the fault of the Bluetooth tag and they should slowly work better as new Android phones enable device tracking. Many android phone support tracking these tags but until the users activate the function on their phones they won’t relay tracking data.Without getting into the weeds most of the Android trackers that support the android Find network work essentially the same. They mostly vary in battery capacity and size for the moment(mid 2025). These trackers use MAC randomization, cryptography, and anti-tracking technology to prevent abuse. You can share a trackers location with another person and you can revoke access to the trackers location. Apple and Android device both look for trackers that are being abused and will alert people when they suspect they are being tracked without permission.
