Small adapter for our car audio
The setup was easy. The initial pairing took under a minute, and it reconnects automatically when I start the car. Function wise, it turns a basic stereo into a wireless audio system. Connectivity has been stable within the cabin, with no noticeable dropouts during short city drives. Sound quality is close to a wired AUX connection, clear mids, and acceptable bass, though very high volume levels introduce slight compression. The unit is compact and doesn’t clutter the console area. Build quality feels lightweight but adequate for in car use.

Failed to upgrade car bluetooth
Did not work for me. Bluetooth in my car was older than my phone’s so it kept cutting out. Bought this to try and make the connection better. My phone connected to this dongle but instead of songs cutting out the whole song kept getting skipped. I had no control of track skipping or play and pause from either my phone or my car screen. The skipping from my cars Bluetooth was bad but this thing was worse. I am returning

Easy to pair, but not what I thought I ordered
This BT audio dongle is apparently used to make an older audio source without Bluetooth capability able to be connected to a speaker via Bluetooth connection via the dongle. I was able to pair the dongle to my smartphone, which worked quickly and seamlessly. I was disappointed as I was hoping to use this to upgrade the functionality of an older Bose stereo that lacks Bluetooth, but since it also doesn’t have a USB-A input, it did not meet my need. I did not have an old speaker that met the necessary conditions so unfortunately I was not able to test the sound quality. All in all this has a very limited set of use cases and the posting could be clearer as other reviews have also indicated.

Excellent plug and play mini USB Bluetooth adapter
I’m extremely happy that I was able to plug in this mini USB adapter for Bluetooth and immediately use it in my older car to stream music. The 3.5 mm plug on the adapter allows you to connect a cable to the input jack on the car, link a smartphone to the adapter via Bluetooth, and stream music or podcasts from your phone’s music apps. I was able to pair the adapter’s Bluetooth with my phone immediately after plugging the dongle into accessory power. Very nice and simple way to add a Bluetooth receiver. 5 stars for reasonable cost, small size, and working exactly as described!

This works great to connect wired powered speakers to Bluetooth. I’m using this to receive audio broadcast from a PC while watching video, output goes to an older pair of PC speakers with a 3.5mm input using the included cable. Pairing was quick and easy, connecting on the first try. Audio is clear with no dropouts or distortion. Since I’m not using portable speakers I couldn’t really test range, but it works great from across the room – about 10 feet/3 meters. Pretty much all you could want in a simple, no nonsense Bluetooth receiver.
