Terrible Car Seat Cushion, But Excellent Office Chair Cushion.
The description on this cushion states that it’s a “Car Seat Cushion”, but I would never use it in a car. The problem is that it boosts the user up about 3-5 inches, and depending on your height, that reduces headroom considerably. It also makes it harder to get in the seat of taller vehicles like trucks or SUV’s. The reason I’m giving it four stars is that it does make an excellent office chair cushion. I’ve used several different types of seat cushions to try to ease my lower back pain from sitting for long periods that my job requires. This not only provides bottom support, it provides lumbar support. I usually have to use two separate cushions to provide the same support this one cushion provides. It has a very “bouncy” feel to it and it doesn’t flatten out after several hours of use. So if you’re looking for a car seat cushion, look somewhere else. But If you’re looking for a great office chair cushion, this one is a winner!

Great Quality… But a Bit Too Thick for Me (Benny Loves It Though!!)
I really wanted to love this seat cushion because the quality is definitely there, but it just didn’t end up being the right fit for me.The memory foam itself is thick, supportive, and holds its shape really well. You can tell right away that it’s made with good materials and designed to last. The fabric feels nice, and overall it seems very well constructed. From a quality standpoint, no complaints at all.For me, the main issue was the top portion with the lumbar support. It’s quite thick and sticks out more than I expected which made me feel like I was constantly being pushed forward. I couldn’t comfortably rest my back against the seat, whether I was in my SUV or even trying it in an office chair. That forward-leaning feeling just didn’t work for me.The seat cushion itself is also pretty thick, which does make it comfortable in terms of padding, but it added more height than I liked. In my SUV, it actually made getting in and out a bit awkward because I was sitting up higher than usual.That said, this might be a great option for someone who specifically wants a lot of lift and strong lumbar support. It really just comes down to personal preference and what feels comfortable for your body.But all was not lost! Benny clearly disagreed with me and claimed it immediately. He has officially turned it into his new favorite lounging spot, which gave me a good laugh.Overall, I’m giving this 3 stars for solid construction, durable memory foam, and good support, but a design that felt too thick and pushed me too far forward to be comfortable.If you prefer a firmer, more elevated seat with pronounced lumbar support, this could work really well for you.

Supportive & Comfortable
I recently injured my lower back, and let me tell you… getting up from the couch had turned into a full production. There was a lot of slow motion standing, questionable noises, and a moment where I considered just living there permanently.I actually used this cushion on my kitchen chair for several days instead of the car, and it worked great. The extra height made it much easier to stand up without feeling like I needed a tow strap. The lumbar support also helped my lower back feel a lot more supported instead of screaming at me every time I moved.I did try it in my SUV, but my seat is already pretty high, so with the cushion I felt like I needed a step ladder to climb in. That said, that’s more of a “tall vehicle” problem than a cushion problem. I think in a lower car it would be perfect.Overall it’s comfortable, supportive, and honestly helped a lot while my back was being dramatic. If you need a little extra support (or a little boost to stand up without sounding like a creaky door), this cushion does the job.

Disclaimer: vine review of an item I requested free*This was really tall and my car doesn’t have the greatest amount of articulation for the seat, so it took a while to find a way to move the seat that was comfortable for driving. Would also work good for putting on a metal folding chair or stadium chair, it has a grippy bottom for that purpose so it won’t accidentally slide off.Quite soft for memory foam, definitely more foamy feel than gelly. Seems rugged enough to last. It’s soft enough that you can sit on it with something like a pair of pliers in your pocket and it’ll mold around it instead of tearing
