In order to make it easier to install the hose reel, we have created a humanized design for its outlet connection. The outlet coupler is moved outward a little bit to facilitate your hose installation and prevent from hose kink ( The kink will reduce the pressure and wear out the hose ).
UPDATE: 1）The coating of the whole reel has been updated to shiny black, not matte black any more. The new coating will protect the reel from hand sweats marks & hose marks, won’t get dirty easily. 2）The blue whip hose’s color was changed, it is black now, this change won’t affect use. 3) This reel is also available for 65ft 1/4″ M22-14MM Hose, please use the attached adapters to convert the inlet and outlet. Nice economical hose reel!
This is a simple hose reel that works really nicely to hold my 40’ Adam’s pressure washer hose. I’ve also had a 50’ uberflex pressure washer hose on it in the past and that worked well too. I’ve got this bolted to the end of my DIY car wash cart, and it’s very convenient and easy to use. It’s built sturdy, the included hardware and extension hose is good quality, and I’ve been quite happy with it overall. The simple locking mechanism makes sure things stay put and don’t unroll. I added another hose clamp and an additional 90* fitting to the reel to make the hose attachment point fit more neatly to the hub, but that’s not required by any means.

Works great but a tight fitting with a stiff hose
Works great. Built a base for it so I can move it around. Only issue was where the hose connects to the reel. I have a stiff commercial 50 foot hose and it was difficult to keep from getting in the way while reeling. Otherwise, great product. No leaks or loss of pressure.

Update: bought in 2023, used for weekly to wash 1-2 cars on average. No issues, works with different size hoses. It comes with an adapter for m22 style hoses which is a plus: jumper hose at decent length as well. Seals went out in 2026, easy replacement it seems. Customer support always willing to help. Can’t complain at this price point.

Rusted water!
I guess… not a fan at all. Bought this hose to do car detailing and every time I always get rusted water coming out. That tube is not the way to go. Needs a hose ran through it like others have. Hope new one i got that’s same brand as do like the reel. Just maybe for use with pressure washing your porch. Not my Camaro. Just hope the new blue 100ft one for 160 is the right choice for auto detailing.

This classic black hose reel seems to be offered by many vendors, including BE Power Equipment, Vevor, M Mingle and MTM Hydro. Judging by the pictures they all look almost identical.However, this MEKOH version gets rave reviews, and the company seems to be staying on top of their development cycle, upgrading the hardware and the paint colour.On Amazon, there was a too-good-to-pass up Black Friday deal so I grabbed one.To my relief, this unit is much sturdier than some reviews make these out to be. The steel is thick and substantial throughout. It’s super solid, with clean and accurate weld points. It spins well with no slack or wobble. The paint is even, and color coverage is thorough.This MEKOH comes with plenty of accessories, including a 3-foot whip hose and an additional backing plate for mounting the hose reel onto, say, a tubular surface.Customer Service response is almost immediate, given they are in China with the time zone difference. They gave me the dimensions, since I wanted something compact. It’s essentially 10.5 inches deep (basically the diameter of the reel), and stands about 13.2 inches tall. The length from the curved intake tube to the tip of the rotator handle is about 13.7 inches. I’ve laid tape measures in my photos so one can see this.I haven’t actually mounted or installed this yet because it’s winter here in the 416, but I did a test fit indoors. In my photos I’ve wound a McKillans steel-braided 1/4″ 50 foot hose, and you can see that the spool has plenty of room to accommodate longer hoses as advertised.MEKOH touts that they attach a zinc outlet coupler at a slight angle, to make it easier for your hose to attach without kinking. This might be truer for longer, or 3/8″ thick hoses. In my case, I confirmed with MEKOH that this coupler can be removed if I wanted to have my hose lay a bit more flush against the outside of the reel itself. A little heat on the threads to remove the thread locker is all that is needed, and then I would attach the included 3/8″ to M22-14 adapter to the hose reel’s rotating brass coupling and, in turn, my hose to this adapter.But…to be honest the hose curl like you see in the picture does not protrude past the dimensions of the hose reel itself and isn’t a big deal. I’ll decide what direction I’ll go come springtime.I plan on mounting this to a wooden platform, and using good PTFE plumber’s tape on the connections.I’d certainly recommend this hose reel set. Great value, well-made and solid company support…everything a weekend warrior enthusiast would want!

Easy to install and use. Saves me a lot of time from having to cleaning up the hose after use. Initially the connection point between the pressure washer and the reel leaked despite correctly applying the Teflon tape but the customer service helped me out and now it’s working fine.

Recently bought this hose reel for a DIY project for building a pressure washer cart so that I can easily take it out from my storage locker and wash my car anytime. This reel is strong and strudy and it comes with everything needed for setup. The installation is prety straightforward and I also followed an online video which helped alot. Now, the only problem is the short hose that came with it has a small water leak (drip) on one side, even I applied Teflon tape and tightenend it well. Other than that, the reel is very solid and it it works great for my project.

I bought this unit last April 2025. It worked great up until I went to use it the other day and the swivel connector that connects to the reel completely snapped off! I contacted their customer service and they gave me two options: 1. Full replacement of unit (backordered approx. two months) or 2. Full refund.I chose the refund as I did not want to wait two months for a replacement. Good to know the company backs up their products. Great customer service and quick responses. Will definitely consider products from them in the future!
