Perfect for Sun Protection and Comfort!
I love how easy they are to install and remove — no tools or hassle required. They also provide excellent UV protection while still allowing visibility, so you don’t feel completely blocked from the outside. My baby and pets stay shaded and relaxed during drives, which makes traveling so much more pleasant. If you want an effective, easy-to-use, and practical car sunshade, this 2-pack from Magnelex is a must-have. High quality, functional, and a real lifesaver for sunny days!

    Does not flap- snug fit
Used driving across Texas in the summer. Kept car cool. Great shade quality

    Works well
I got these as sun shades for my infant in the car. They are real easy to install and stay put. They block a lot of light but don’t completely shade in direct light. They don’t cause any leaks in rain or snow. I like that I can still roll the window down for air but no bugs can get in and nothing can be thrown out. It also keeps my little dog from leaning out the window. When I take the baby out in the stroller, I use one of the shades as a bug screen and stretch it over his seat. The only downside is that when it’s on the door behind the driver, it’s nearly impossible to see out that window from that angle, further obscuring the blind spot.

    Okay Sunscreen
This sunscreen does what it says, keeps the sun from being too bright while allowing air flow. Easy to install, juat alide it over the car door. Per directions, should not use this if it is raining.I am mostly disappointed because even though I used Amazon’s product matching system to ensure it’ll fit my vehicle, it seems to be too big and fits over the window awkwardly.

Great for privacy and heat buildup without modification
I got this because my car gets way too hot in the summer and I paired it with a dog window gate so I can actually leave the windows open but random people won’t see its open easily. So I mostly use it with my back windows a little less than half open and have discovered some pretty cool features. First you can actually see through it pretty well but I still wouldn’t recommend them in the front windows might not even be legal while driving regardless. They’re very good privacy wise because it’s effectively two curtains blocking people looking in. Now I’ve left them on in the rain alot and wlwith windows closed the inner side is not gonna get wet so you don’t have to worry about that. However even with the windows open only one time did my interior get wet and that was because there were high winds blowing it sideways through the screen. But all the other times the door only gets a little wet but no more than it would if you opened it to get in or out so it’s moot. Even I’m heavy rain it’s not an issue so I simply recommend having a waterproof seat cover to catch anything that splashes in and a door cover if you’re really concerned. Plus with the windows open it will quickly dry anyway. So if your car has a broken AC or stuck blower selector like me. This is one of your best options to not be super hot even when it rains. One thing to note, when closing the windows do it from outside since if you don’t hold the outer part up it will get pinched by the windows.

    Fit My 2025 Subaru Outback.
Fit My 2025 Subaru Outback. The fit is good, but not perfect like the Augola bug screen that I also tried, as it is not taper cut like the Augola bug screen is. Like that the Magnelex bug screen comes with a storage bag. Does Not have Velcro tabs, BUT I really wonder how necessary Velcro tabs are, as it seems like the rubber door gaskets should keep it in place. Installing & removing is quick & easy. My intent is to use this for stationary use only when car camping, to keep bugs out and to keep it from heating up too much from the sun.As I noted above, I also tried the Augola window bug screen (size Large) on my Outback, it has Velcro tabs and actually fit better (you can tell by the lack of ripples on the installed screen). But I am thinking of keeping this Magnelex instead, as it seems like a nicer fabric and is a little heavier (3.65 oz. vs. 3.20 oz., weight is per screen).Regardless of the bug screen, care needs to be taken installing & removing to prevent tearing. The Outback has a rather pointy right-angle top corner that could easily damage any bug screen. Also, Not sure any of these bug screens should be used while driving, except on the drivers window or behind the driver, since unless it is close to you it is going to negatively affect visibility.Though I already have a bug screen for my 2017 Tacoma that fits fine, I tried this Magnelex window screen. I don’t recommend it for the Tacoma as it is just a little short (top to bottom), which might allow bugs in.

    Great Product
Work great. Just remember to take them off before you go through a car wash.

    Did not fit well; returned
Description states “fits most” but on my car, didn’t fit well.Bought these for a Subaru Impreza and I fought them so much, I returned them. The front windows are angled and while the socks would slide over the top, as the window got wider toward the bottom, the sock would slide up. Would the sock fit top to bottom over the window? Can’t say for sure. The seams were being strained with me trying to work it down and that combined with it riding up… way too frustrating and, I didn’t want to risk damaging them when I knew early on I would not keep them. For positives… they are well stitched and the fabric is soft, rather slinky so I had no concerns about it possibly damaging my paint. Too, between the weight of the fabric and the tint of my windows, I felt they would have provided privacy. If the widow was down, I felt it would allow good air flow. Disappointed that it didn’t work for me as needed.

Great for letting the air in and the bugs out.

This is for small car only…it didn’t fit my car window

  12. Larissa Lefebvre

Absolutely love these for air flow when car camping! I originally only got 2 for the back windows of my Subaru outback, and after camping in the heat of July I got 2 more for the front windows. And since I have seen people ask elsewhere, no, they won’t keep rain out, you need a tarp for that lol.

Great quality product, just a shame they’re too small for a full size SUV
