I’ve gone through more car phone mounts than I care to admit, and this MAGIC JOHN Car Phone Holder is easily one of the best I’ve used.The metal construction immediately stands out. It feels solid, well-machined, and far more durable than the typical plastic mounts that loosen or crack over time. Once mounted, it stays put—no shaking, slipping, or sagging, even on rough roads.The suction cup is extremely strong and holds securely to the windshield. After several days of driving, including bumps and temperature changes, it hasn’t budged at all. The 360° rotation is smooth and makes it easy to position the phone exactly where I want it without blocking my view.Phone placement and removal are quick and easy, and it holds my phone firmly without pressing buttons or interfering with charging. Pretty great compared to others
This is probably a 4.5 for me. I previously had one from Walmart, iOttie brand I think? I was pretty happy with it, at the time. I had it for less than a year but it broke in Atlanta traffic one day at a very inconvenient time. I thought the iottie was sturdy but eventually plastic clamps broke and it was no longer usable. I knew with my next phone holder, wanted to get something more sturdy, even if I had to pay more. This one I am super impressed with. All metal construction, no plastic knobs or clamps, the metal is also thick and sturdy feeling, not thin sheet metal. As soon as I put the clamp on the windshield I knew I was handling a superior product. It clamped down firm and solid, with very little effort. My previous one never was stable, I was always trying to tighten it back up but the settings slowly loosened over time. The ball heads allow for a ton of range of motion to get it just right. They also clamp down rock solid as well. I have only had it on for a short period but I feel 100x better about this one not coming loose, constantly shaking my phone, breaking, or leaving me hanging. I was not totally sold on the clamp only holding the phone on two sides, rather than a cradle from three sides. But this also holds very firm, and I have not noticed my phone shaking at all. My one and only small complaint is the opening and closing for the phone clamp. It’s a little hard to get to and awkward, definitely a two handed operation to get your phone in and out. If that’s the only complaint I have, I can deal with it. For a few more dollars, this device is exponentially better than others in the slightly lower price range. I fully recommend it for anyone that drives an older car without an infotainment system/uses their phone for GPS, music, or even just hands free use in general.

Product is very well built!
Excellent product, fast delivery, easy installation, stays in place on and off rough road. I also own the one with the extension for long reach on my wife’s car for over a year. I tried many others and they all were cheaply made, melted in the hot sun, and were harder to install. If you don’t need firm grip on phone (staying on pavement) the magnetic attachment may meet your needs.

Snake multiple mount
This magic phone holder is sturdy enough to hold and accommodate any giant smart phone upto 6.9 inch. Didn’t try anything larger. What i like the most about is the strength of the suction cup, the agility, and maneuverability of its design. I have been able to attach it to any smooth clean surface. To prolong its grip. Clean the suction cup b4 attaching. It’s built quality is really good, and you can fold the whole thing into the size of your fist.

Great mount
Fantastic mount. Suction cup actually works unlike those sticky ones. Solid. My only issues are the need fkr 2 hands to get the phone in and out. While I knew that before I bought it. My other issue i didnt think about was you also cant turn the phone from landscape to portrait mode either with 1 hand. My work app doesnt work well in landscape mode, but I dont use gps in portrait mode. I would still buy this mount again though.

Heavy duty! Well made. Recommended.
I love how heavy-duty this thing is. I have a red magic 10 pro, which isn’t the lightest phone out there, and this thing doesn’t budge. I also like the manually operated phone clamp; it feels well made and works great. I’ll have to see how the suction mount does, but it’s encouraging that it’s colored black to block uv.
