Does exactly what it claims. But check the power.
What I like:Literally does what it claims. I was able to play YouTube videos for the kids and stream baseball on the head unit of my car. Waiting in line for school dismissal is a little less boring.What I dont like:I found I HAD to utilize the power from my cigarette lighter. If I tried a single power source, it wouldnt turn on. I have two usb ports up front and if I connected it to both, still wouldnt power up. But if I connected as described in the manual, 1 into the usb and the other into usb via the cigarette lighter, then it powered up fine.Dual power means dual cables and the shape doesnt help as it doesnt fit anywhere in my car expect for the center console.

Works, but performance is terrible .
Works ,but very laggy and cheap feeling performance. I used it as a work a round for my uconnect 5 system not displaying full screen android auto. For that purpose it works well. However the default user interface is pretty bad and feels like a 15 year old android device.

I’ve been using these types of AI boxes for several years now, and they’re quite amazing. You can get various types with different features, but these kinds are the “premium” ones and are priced accordingly. This one is the best one that I’ve used so far, and its cost is right about where it should be given its feature set. I had been sticking with one particular company in the past, but its newest generation device isn’t as good as it should be. This one, on the other hand, is perfect.By “Premium”, I mean that this AI box is in all respects a fully-featured Android tablet once plugged into your car. Your entertainment screen will function exactly as if you have a real tablet there instead of a restrictive CarPlay or Android interface.This connects the car using the wired CarPlay protocol, but it has all of the typical tablet features. It has access to the Google Play Store and can load any app that you want onto it. It comes preloaded with a lot of apps already, but if you want to use a Bluetooth OBD reader and an app like Car Scanner to display additional gauges on the screen, it’s simple to do and looks great.The really nice thing about these kinds of boxes is that they have a SIM card slot. Note that the slot on this is a miniSIM, so you may need an adapter to use the microSIM that in most modern phones use. This package comes with a trial SIM card loaded with a small amount of data and a pre-paid plan, but I have a tablet plan with my phone carrier that has unlimited data for $15 per month. This SIM card works perfectly well and was immediately active when I plugged it in, so I have no use for the included SIM card.You can also use your phone as a hotspot if you don’t want to use a SIM card, but this might not be as reliable if you also want to use the wireless CarPlay or Android Auto with the box.When I first started using this box, I saw that it would sometimes restart unexpectedly, but after a couple of drives with it, I realized that it happened in the same location. I believe that what was happening is that when I drive in a spot with a poor cellular signal, the modem increases its power to try to stay connected and the power was browning out. This box comes with a Y cable adapter to be able to use two power sources simultaneously. I’d never needed this with my other AI boxes so I wasn’t using it with this one either, but as soon as I started using the adapter the restarts stopped occurring. I will say that this AI box has a better cellular connection than my other ones, so perhaps it just uses more power and uses a more powerful modem.Once you start using one of these, it’s hard to go without. They make the car’s screen so much more useful, and even the same things like navigation apps look much nicer on this interface.I frequently recommend these to other people who comment on pictures of my cars’ screens on online forums, and right now, this one is at the top of my recommended list. It’s really been a great product so far.

Makes your cars screen way more functional!
This is an awesome device that makes your cars built-in infotainment screen more usable! I currently use this in my 2023 audi q5. Having Netflix and YouTube is awesome is great especially with kids in tow. Unfortunately Hulu doesn’t work for some reason but maybe that’s just on my end. Connection sometimes takes a little longer than a few seconds, but eventually connects or might have to be repositioned. This is more than just adding android auto or apple carplay to your car. Despite the few complaints it’s still a worthy purchase indeed.

CarPlayをワイヤレス化するだけでなく、CB6Aそのものにアプリをインストールして使えるので、CarPlayを使わなくてもディスプレイオーディオにAndroidナビの機能を追加して使えるようになります。Androidを使っているので起動は少し待たされますが、スリープ用の電源を使っていない（エンジンを切った後はバッテリーに負荷をかけない）ので、仕方ないと思います。CarPlayは便利だけど使える機能に制限が多すぎるし、Androidナビもまだ発展途上ですので、お気に入りのディスプレイオーディオがあれば使い続けて、目的に合うAI boxを選んで使うのが、現状での最適解だと思います。

無線Android Autoを試したくて導入しました。ちなみにこのスマートボックスにSIMカード(Microサイズ)を挿せばコイツ単体でも動作します、スマホのテザリングやポケットルーターの電波をWi-FiまたはBluetooth接続でSIMカード無しで通信を行うことも可能です、イメージとしてはカーナビ/ディスプレイオーディオがタブレットになる感じです。有線のCarPlay/Android Autoの無線化は、このスマートボックスとスマホをBluetooth接続を介して、スマートボックス標準アプリを立ち上げて使うイメージです。無線CarPlay/Android Auto使用時はスマホのデータ通信を使用する形になり、スマートボックスのWi-Fi接続が切れるので、裏でアップデート等を走らせる場合はSIMカード挿入のデータ通信かBluetoothテザリングが必要になります。しかし実際はスマートボックス単体か無線CarPlay/Android Autoの排他利用になるのでそこまで気にしなくても大丈夫かと思います。当方スバルのちょっと型が古い車(インプレッサGT7型)ですが、有線Android Auto（またはApple CarPlay)が使えるナビで問題なく動作しました。最初のセットアップ時は標準でApple CarPlayの方が選択された状態のため、iPhoneの方はそのまますぐに接続できると思います。Androidスマホ(Pixel等)の方は、クリップやSIMピン等で本体裏面のAA/CPボタンを長押しで接続方式を切り替える必要があります（本体正面のランプが緑色→青色になればOKです）。その後は淡々とBluetoothでスマホと接続することで無事にワイヤレスAndroid Autoを使用することができました。このスマートボックスとスマホをセットで持っていれば、自分の車で無くとも出先のレンタカー等が有線CarPlay/Android Autoに対応していれば、そのまま線を繋げば利用可能になるかと思いますので、出先でディスプレイオーディオ/カーナビをイチから設定する面倒さからも開放されるので、ある程度何とか仕組みが理解できそうな方には良い品だと思います。
