Very Satisfied—Cheap, Accurate, Easy to install
Auto-shutdown works, did not drain my battery so far, works well, very easy to connect and set up, pretty cheap, accurate, easy to see the speed even against the sun.

We are living in the future now! Simple Easy to See
Little pricey but the odb2 readings are good, i have larger tires and the odometer reading is about 5mph off, changing the unit to “menu 1: 102” setting reads accurate compared to google maps gps, hopefully no more speeding tickets :/-visibility is great, not using the supplied reflective laminate sheets

Works when it has its mood
This HUD is acting up randomly. Its connected to a RAV4 and at times it shows the speed ( which should be the case) some times the voltage and it restarts itself

HUD: Heads-Up Display… or Highly Unreliable Dashboard?
Bought the Liiiyuan M11 Heads-Up Display because I thought, “Hey, let’s bring my car into the future.” Spoiler alert: turns out the future is mildly inaccurate and slightly overconfident. At first, it seemed promising — numbers showed up on the windshield like magic. I felt like I was in a sci-fi movie… until I realized the HUD speed has a vivid imagination. Under 35 mph? Close enough. But once you hit highway speeds, it starts to lie like a politician before election day. At 55, it’s already claiming I’m doing 58 — thanks, I guess? Great for building self-esteem, terrible for avoiding speeding tickets. Not sure if there’s a secret calibration method hidden in an ancient scroll or if it’s just vibing on its own terms, but I haven’t found a way to make it accurate yet. So now I have two speed readings and trust issues. If you want a gadget that kind of tells you how fast you’re going — give or take a few mph and a pinch of fantasy — this is the one for you.

Staying safe at a great price
The only thing that is discouraging about this product is the cord was considerably too long, which was the only thing that I found wrong with this product. It performs very well it’s only 3 miles an hour off at 65 miles an hour. It’s clearly visible in the daytime And allows me to keep my eyes where they belong, which is on the road.

Unreliable
Works ok when it works. I had to calibrate and set an offset to get it to read correctly. Not a huge deal, and it makes sense that it can differ in each vehicle. Oftentimes, it would power on and tell me my car wasn’t compatible, even though it is. Got tired of it and threw it away.

Great! But Range Rover incapable
Worked perfectly for one day. Then it messed up my cars computer & my Range Rover wouldn’t run. Dealership advised not to use. Would be great for a vehicle not so fragile.

Speed and direction!!
Last brand i bought was inaccurate. This brand was also off by about 2 or 3 mph. Instructions told me an easy way to change a setting and make it accurate. Fixed that setting and the mph is spot on! I also love how I can see my direction of travel. Amazing. Easy to see even in bright sunshine.

This is a game changer – drove from Victoria to NSW and it was so good to help me keep my eyes on the road and within the speed limits

This is my first HUD that has a projection to the windshield feature. My previous HUD was non-projection. A projection type HUD, for all intents and purposes, is a safer type of HUD, since one doesn’t have to take their eyes from the road to see the HUD reporting if mounted within the driver’s field-of-vision. During the day, it is a little difficult to see the projected speed on the windshield ….. but very much improved with the plastic shield that can be mounted on the windshield in the area where the speed numbers are projected. It darkens that area of the windshield so the numbers stand out better.Other things I should point out about this unit are the following:(1) Being in Canada, I had to change the speed units from mph to km/h.(2) the actual reported speed in comparison to my car speedometer was off by about 10 km/h, so I had to re-calibrate it for accuracy. Both (1) and (2) processes are covered off in the manual.(3) On the plus side, the unit boots up at the open click of the door locks of the car and after the car is parked and shut down, 30 seconds later, the unit will power itself off. On the minus side, when I press my car remote to lock the car doors, the unit boots up again and awaits for signals from the OBD. Only THIS time, it does not power itself off after 30 seconds of inactivity but continues to drain the battery until you start the car again. The way around this inconvenience and possible risk is to manually press power off/on button on the unit when exiting or entering the vehicle. This way YOU have total control of it’s operation.Room for improvement, hence my one star deduction:(1) The other displays that this HUD offers can only be seen by pressing the appropriate button on the unit. The problem is that the buttons face towards the windshield hence not able to see which button to press without handling the unit. A small remote to step thru the displays would be most welcome.(2) The instruction manual is complete but the text is so tiny, it is extremely difficult to read without the use of a magnifying glass. So my recommendation is to increase the font and make it a pleasant experience.Otherwise, so far so good!!! 👍👍
