Well, the pillow seems high-quality and durable. It has plenty of thickness and weight to it (after it comes out of its shrink wrap and fully “inflates” to its normal size). I’m going to see if it will work for my office chair, and if it doesn’t work great for that, then at a minimum I think I will be able to use it for long-distance drives.I tried it on my sofa (which is just not a supportive fit for my back). I have been using just a long throw pillow to support my back and thought this one might work better. Unfortunately I just could not get it in a position that felt like it was really supporting my lumbar area. I feel like it needs to be just a TINY bit smaller or something.I also am not sure I love the way it sticks out in the middle, which I guess is supposed to be very good for your spine but just kind of feels like something poking my spine instead.All that said, I’m still giving it 4 stars because it’s a really well-made pillow, and I think the problem is a “me” problem and it’s just really hard for me to find a good lumbar pillow for my wonky back, lol. My ex-husband always used, and loved, lumbar pillows that never felt right when I tried to use them. So I think it’s more about the shape of my back or maybe my oversensitivity to having things “just so” (there are a lot of different support pillows for the head and neck that also don’t work well for me).Anyway — as I said, I’ll give it a shot in a couple of other use cases. And I’m sure I’ll get some good use out of it. It wasn’t uncomfortable, it just wasn’t QUITE what I was looking for. I feel like most people would find this to be a more than adequate lumbar support, though. It’s well made, looks nice, and is a good value for the price!

Unique Design Really Helps Alleviate my L5 Pain While I Work, Would Be Great in the Car!
I’ve been experiencing some pain with my L5/S1 vertebrae recently and as I work from home, sit in a variety of locations to work on my computer during the day while interacting with our rescue cats and taking care of household routine chores. When I work on the sofa, even with a lumber support seat brace, I have really been feeling it the next day. I was looking for supplements on Amazon and came across this unusual shaped support pillow and thought I would try it.It comes rolled up and vacuum sealed and when I took it out, I actually thought it was defective as it was lopsided. I came back to it about an our later and it had fully inflated so I took it to sit on the sofa with and have been working for 5 hours with a few brakes and my back doesn’t hurt. It is very well sewn and finished and the padding is firm but moldable.Honestly, when I opened it, I was pretty skeptical that it would help in any way just because it has a bump in the middle of the back, but well, I was wrong. I am still sitting with it behind me as I type. I am pretty impressed with this pillow after working with it for the day. I will work with it in different seating locations over the next few weeks and come back for an update, but for now, for its quality craftsmanship, thoughtful design and the fact that it has relieved my L5 pain, five stars!
