The things you never knew you needed…
We live in Northern California and during the winter and early spring months we battle with ice on our windshields in the early mornings. We’ve tried credit cards, ice scrapers, draping towels and old sheets over our windows. I saw this and thought it would be perfect! Especially for our 22yo son who leaves for work at 5:15 every morning.The material seems to be good quality and the cover is well made. It comes with a storage bag, so this won’t get tossed around and get damaged. The straps that hold it down are not adjustable, but they do have a lot of give in them to fit different sized vehicles. We tried it on our Honda Accord and will try it on his truck when he gets home. The bottom of the windshield part has little magnets in the hem that help hold it down to the hood. I discovered that as I was taking it off and it kept getting stuck. The rear view mirror covers have elastic that allows for extra stretching to fit different sized mirrors.All in all, I’m very happy with this windshield cover. It comes at a decent price point, especially knowing that I’ll have peace of mind knowing my son won’t be fighting an icy windshield in the wee hours of the morning!

The product is not as described and cannot be used for SUVs because it is too small. The wire is thin and easily breaks, just opened the package of unused products and the wire came loose…

Convenient
I like how convenient this windshield cover is to store in my car and use when needed. The cover is a fairly thin sheet, maybe a little thinner than a tarp, but it seems to work well in rain and snow. I don’t have a lot of confidence that it is durable enough to hold up in a strong hail storm. The magnets are powerful and hold it in place well enough so that a single person can get the cover on a vehicle without it falling off in the process. I like that there’s a reflective strip on the side mirror covers. I put it on a ’17 Subaru Forester, and it fits fairly well. There is slight gapping on the sides but the hooks keep the sides from flying off in the wind. The windshield is fully covered. One thing I was surprised by was how much water collects on the cover. Make sure the cover is completely dry before storing it for long periods of time. I do like that the cover easily fits in its storage bag. It’s handy to keep in the car and quick to put on.

Windshield Cover – Not Heavy Duty
This is not a Heavy-Duty windshield cover. It does not have an Oxford cloth liner, it is a single layer of vinyl/plastic.I could not find any magnets in the cover I received? The stitching is all single stitching, nothing is double stitched.The Cover is not as big as the one pictured on the order page, and you’ll never get the side windows covered like the car on the order page. I would suggest closing the doors on the side window covers (putting them inside the car) so the cover is more secure in the wind. I am not sure how this cover will hold up, I believe a strong wind would destroy it? If you live where you just get morning frost on your windows, this could be good for that.

Much too small for even the smallest cars and you can forget it for any mid-size or larger sedans
I ordered this LOOTAAN windshield cover just in time for our freakish ice storm in Central Texas. Out of the box, this thing stank up my garage but after sitting spread out overnight, the small was gone. Not a big deal for something going outdoors, but thought I might mention it. Attaching the cover to my daughters 2008 Mazda 3 was pretty simple with the four straps with plastic hooks and the side-mirror covers slipped on just fine. It came with a storage bag that will never be used, but at the time I was happy to see one included so that I could store it in the trunk all season…Now for the real-world use review!Unlike the photos in the description, this windshield cover is too small. It barely covers the side windows at all of this very tiny automobile! The top of the cover can barely reach the metal roof so the magnets were not the most useful. The straps are not adjustable so you are forced to find any place you can reach to clip the plastic hook onto…in my case it was the front clip and the rear fenders. During the course of the storm, one of the rear hooks snapped, so future use is now out of the question. Snow and ice was able to get under the cover and freeze, which made removing the windshield cover impossible without tearing the material. Photos provided to support all my claims.Final thoughts: As a one-time-use product, the $24 asking price is much too expensive. It needs much more material to cover a mid-sized sedan or larger vehicles. The material itself seems 100% vinyl and not a cloth outer layer. One more thing made of plastic that is headed to the landfill unfortunately.
