Perfect Fire Extinguishers mount… except…..
(see uploaded pictures of my install on my boat)This mount is everything advertised; Strong, easy to install, and affordable. I ordered this to mount my Fire Extinguisher to my Center Console for easy access. I have a 2″ role bar center console top that is gloss black. When I unboxed the mount, I noticed the clamp bracket has grooves/teeth that help hold it in place while being shaken during normal wear and tear. I knew I did not want to have my bars scratched, so I ordered a sheet of rubber 12″ x 12″ 1/16th thick from Amazon. (Anything thicker will not allow the clamp to fit around a 2″ bar.) I cut strips out slightly wider than the bracket and wrapped the bar prior to attaching the mounting bracket. I also added a small drop of blue Loc-tite to the threads to keep the bracket from flying off at 50+ mph on the water.I wish the rubber was included in the kit… But hey, hell of a product and not many people are going to worry about scratching a roll-bar… :)Buy it if you measured your bar and it is no larger than 2″ inches. This a great product.

Wow, I didn’t expect it to fit but the way it is made, it can fit different size back and front bars on a UTV. It was super easy to install with the included Allen wrench. It is also made with high quality materials. I like that it is made for differentsize fire extinguishers. And another added benefit is the adjustable rubber straps. I put it on my new UTV and now i feel a lot safer driving around on my property. Thank you! Ken 😎

Like the other reviews say this is bigger than it looks. With a “standard” 3” household fire extinguisher it looks massive holding it. It is sturdy though, and has survived a variety of riding without dropping the bottle.

Very Nice Product
Used to mount a fire extinguisher on my RZR roll cage. Perfect fit, no installation issues. I glued two strips of thin rubber material (the type used in tool chest drawers) onto the portion holding the fire extinguisher, to prevent damage to the extinguisher when bouncing over rocky trails. I like the simple design of the heavy-duty rubber straps holding the extinguisher, there is no vibration.
