iOttie Velox Magnetic Flush Car Mount – Compatible with MagSafe iPhones, Including iPhone 12, 13, 14, and 15 Series

Make sure you have an iPhone 12 or newer and a Magsafe case.
This is one of the most simplistic looking car mounts I’ve ever seen. It really blends in to your interior and makes it seem almost OEM.The adhesive is plenty strong for me. For good adhesion, you must prep the surface by removing dust and debris. For those who are having their mount fall off, it could very well be that the surface texture of your specific car is not compatible. Some interior dashes are textured/marbled for a faux leather look. I believe these types of surfaces significantly reduce the surface area contact with the adhesive. Try to find the smoothest looking surface possible.Additionally, this might not work for you if you live in an incredibly hot area as the intense heat may melt the adhesive.If you find the magnet is “not strong enough”, make sure you have a magsafe compatible case. I’ve seen many people attempt to attach magsafe products to a magsafe compatible iPhone, but with regular phone case. Having a hunk of plastic in between the phone magnet and the accessory magnet will significantly reduce the attachment strength. If you use a magsafe compatible case, this won’t be an issue because these cases will have a magnet built-in. To make sure you have a magsafe compatible case, look for a circle on the back of the case.The mount works beautifully as long as you are aware of the limitations of physics. I do wish iOttie would release a black version though. This mount is a very dark blue and while it looks amazing, it will somewhat clash if you have a black interior car.

Love the design – but the included adhesive is complete trash
We opened this MagSafe compatible car mount up to use in our car. We cleaned the car dash with rubbing alcohol to ensure the surface was a clean and gunk free as possible. Once we ensured it was completely clean and dry, we removed the red backing from the adhesive, stuck the mount to the dash – and the whole assembly came crashing down into the cupholders as soon as we put my wife’s iPhone 13 Pro.When we picked up the mount that still had the iPhone attached (decent magnets, I suppose) – the adhesive circle on the bottom had ZERO stickiness to it. So we removed the old adhesive sticker from the bottom of the mount & applied the backup/2nd adhesive sticker that was included in the box. We performed the exact same steps above…and within 2 seconds of mounting the iPhone to it, the mount again broke from from the dash and crashed with the phone down into the cupholders of our car.So – the mount itself has a very sleek & clean design. We love the pivoting head feature. And the magnet that attaches to the MagSafe mounting magnet in the page of an iPhone works well.So far – the only failure we found was the adhesive they use and supply. Now we’re either stuck with sending the mount back, or having to spend extra money to buy 3M adhesive, or some other quality brand adhesive to replace the crap adhesive used by this company.DO BETTER IOTTIE!!

Strong + Convenient
I love how small but mighty this holder is. It works perfectly with a MagSafe case, and I haven’t had any issues with it falling off or not sticking. It’s also a lot smoother and blends into the car better, not nearly as unpleasant to look at as some of the other options out there. It comes with 2 sticker things and they stick really well, I’ve had it slide just slightly when it’s been sitting in a hot car/direct sunlight but it’s never been an issue or made me worry. Totally worth the money!

Perfect!
I have used every kind of car holder they make. I have tried the air vent ones that can’t support the phones weight, the suction cup ones that take up too much space and the cup holder ones are too flimsy. I’ve tried ones that are similar to this, being magnetic, but the stickers always come off and it falls off because the base isn’t sturdy. This one is perfect. The base is sturdy with a really good mount sticker and it holds my heavy phone with its heavy case showing no signs of moving. I love it.

Excelente agarre del magneto para mi IPhone. Se puede utilizar en posición vertical u horizontal sin problema. Muy discreto en el tablero. Lo utilizo con un cargador Anker y logro así un sistema de carga minimalista.
