Did not sync with my Ford and was returned. Seller upgraded me to a better unit at no added cost!
I returned this item as it would not sync reliably with my Ford Sync system. It was cheaply made and did not work well. On reading the negative feedback, the seller contacted me thru the Amazon message system and offered an upgraded IK8 at no additional charge. It arrived today (10-13) and works in my older Mustang very well. I appreciate dealing with a company that stands behind it’s products!!!!!

If you’re looking to modernize an older BMW media screen without spending OEM-head-unit money — a 9″ CarPlay screen like this one is a very worthwhile upgrade. It significantly improves usability (navigation, calls, streaming) and gives your car a fresh, tech-friendly feel. I added this to my X1 and I love it! I like that I didn’t have to tear apart my car to install it. Screen is beautiful and bright. Definite bang for your buck! Will update with interior photo when child gives my car back!

POS if you want the cheapest option out there go ahead it’s not worth a crap it’s gonna lag doesn’t sound good. You need to get you a built-in deck and not these new Bluetooth. They’re not quality and you can tell by the sound in the way they fall off your dash and just looks stupid.

Good Unit For Car / Truck, But Needs Upgrades
The IIWEY IK5 was ordered for use with my truck.The unit paired with my Android phone easily, and it was up and running fairly quickly. I like the fact that I can now see maps in front of me without having to use my phone. The picture quality of the unit was good, but not great. There are probably better options out there for picture quality. The sound is good. One of the things I really do not like is the rather constant barrage of ads in the app. The camera quality of the unit is good. However, I also have used a specified camera on my dash, and it produces a much better quality picture. The same is true of the rear camera. The other issue I have with the unit is that it is rather unstable when mounted on its tape base due to the unit’s size.Overall, I generally like the unit, and the price is good for this type of product. However, it could use some upgrades in the quality of the picture.

Worked perfect in my semi. I had to use a strong adhesive to hang it over window which was expected. The included wire organizing stickies worked perfect for routing. I used the AV jack to communicate with my music player. Wire Not included. The Siri options works pretty good as well.
