There are some reviews about having a hard time connecting to the wifi. I had the same issue. I had it plugged into the USB port and powered on, but every time I enabled the wifi, the camera would power cycle. After a little reading, I realized that I needed to use the supplied lighter adapter cord. Once I did that, it connected to my phone without issue.The camera quality is good, and the side cameras add a ton of visibility. The app is easy to cycle through the different camera veiws. I routed the cord down the A pillar and down under the glove box. I had about 4″ extra for my 2017 Nissan Rogue.

I’ve used a few dash cams over the years, but the IIWEY N5 is on another level.
