Great for legos!
Normally not one to write reviews but this one deserves it. I used these to paint all my large vehicle lego sets bumpers and trim peices that are just grey instead of chrome like the real vehicles would have and so glad I tried painting legos! Definitely creates a unique stand out leho sets and brings them to life! Highly recommend for any hobbies. The pens are a cool chrome like mirror finish and easily applies. Do a test peice but you won’t be disappointed!

Easy application with great finish
What an improvement! I have yet to see a paint that can mimic real chrome without a lot of fuss. These pens allow precise flow application on small miniatures, dries quick and looks incredibly metallic and chrome. The bumpers on my small N scale mini’s never looked so good.

I like these markers. They produce a mirror finish. The tip must be fully primed. It also must be dried fully before you touch it or you will get smudges and have to repaint. I also can refill the tube when needed

Shiny Finish but Tricky Application
Shiny Finish but Tricky ApplicationI tried out this set of silver chrome paint pens on a few small projects—some toy detailing and accent lines on a craft piece—and the first thing I noticed is how striking the finish looks when it comes out right. The ink is bold, reflective, and really does give a metallic chrome effect that pops against darker surfaces. Having three different nib sizes in the set is handy too, since I could switch between fine detail and filling in slightly larger areas without needing a second product.That said, the performance isn’t always consistent. The pens take a little patience to prime, and sometimes the ink flow is either too heavy (leading to smudges or pooling) or a bit streaky. On slick or non-porous surfaces, I found that the ink smears easily if touched before it’s fully cured, which can take longer than expected. Durability is also something to keep in mind—it looks great initially but doesn’t always hold up to handling or rubbing, so for anything that gets a lot of use, a clear sealant might be necessary.Bottom line: These chrome paint pens can produce a beautiful, mirror-like effect, but they require careful application and aren’t the most durable on their own. Best for craft projects or display items where looks matter more than wear resistance.

Shiny!
I used this set for the grip of a sixth-scale, 3D-printed dumbbells and they worked really well. Maybe a bit too well? They’re super shiny compared to a dumbbell keychain whose grip is already metallic. But I’m happy with the result. Application was easy, the paint glided smoothly, even with the 3D filament bumps. The medium tip was excellent for the larger surface and the small tip filled the details and the more awkward angles.

Unfortunately, this did not work for me. I was trying to patch a little tiny chips on the back of the mirror, and it did not make a difference that I was hoping for.

This is perfect for when you need to touch up chrome, say on a car model, or to give a realistic appearance to various parts of car models, such as rear view mirrors, side mirrors or when you snip the chromed part from the sprue.It dries fairly quickly, but you can also use a hair dryer or heat gun. Great value for the money, and it gives good coverage.You get 3 different sizes and it’s extremely easy to use. Once it’s primed, it flows out easily and functions perfectly.Best of all, it beats the price of the name brand product and does just as good a job.5 stars
