Affordable CarPlay Upgrade
I bought this CarPlay screen for my Infiniti Q50 since it doesn’t come with built-in CarPlay, and I’m really impressed with how well it works. Usually, adding CarPlay can cost a few hundred dollars, but this option solved the problem for under $100, which is a great value.The screen is nicely designed. It is narrow enough that it doesn’t block my view while driving, but still large enough to use comfortably. The display is clear and responsive, making navigation and apps easy to see and use. Installation was simple and straightforward. My experience was the product is great. It has full ability to perform all carplay functions you’d expect. 3-ways to provide sound output. FAST syncing with mobile. Supports iOS and Android. (I use iOS) It has quick syncing when you get in your vehicle (Pairs in under 15 secs) – Screen is quick and responsive. No dropouts, solid connection. Performs identical to a factory installation of CarPlay if you’re car is older and didn’t come with it or lacks a screen. The first unit I purchased was malfunctioning, but the seller gave me the option of quick refund in full or replacement shipped QUICKLY. I chose to get a replacement and had it in-hand within 3 days. 25HOURS was the seller, and their customer service and support was amazing!

Nice addition to my old car
I have a 2007 Ford Edge. The radio is so old school that it does not have USB, Bluetooth, or much of anything special. I wanted to be able to play music from my phone and also display navigation. I also wanted to be able to make calls and send and receive texts. Typical Apple CarPlay stuff.This fits the use perfectly. It works really well. I was able to set it up for using FM to play the music through the car radio. I would give the sound 9 out of 10. It pushes the radio a touch hard, which tends to distort the music just a tad. I can live with that.The screen is bright and crisp, and it is easy to see. The touchscreen works really well. It is very easy to set up. That is a good thing because the documentation is pretty much useless. The only things i have not gotten working yet are the dashcam and the backup camera. I think I need to put an SD card in for the dashcam. I need to try that soon.The backup cam seems like it will work well, probably. The challenge is that I have not taken the time to figure out how to put it in the car yet. It has been wicked cold out. So I have not wanted to hang out outside to try to figure it out. The Edge is a hatchback, which complicates things. I will get it installed when it warms up a bit. I might need to get a bit of extra wire to make the connectivity to the backup light for the auto activation. Again, hatchback issues.The only complaint at all is that every once in a while the touchscreen will stop working. But I just power it off and back on (pull the plug) and it works again. My power outlet does not turn off when the car turns off. I think that might be part of it. Having the phone away from the screen for an extended time might mess that up. Everything else keeps working. And the restart seems to fix it fine.For the price, it is an amazing option for an older car. Just be ready to figure things out without any documentation. 😉

Fantastic Customer Support but Faulty Software
Update: After my initial review, I contacted Amazon and initiated a return for a refund. The seller later reached out, apologized, and asked me to provide a detailed report of the issue, which I did. They explained that a new batch was available and offered to let me keep the original unit while sending a replacement at no extra cost.In the end, I chose to proceed with the refund instead of the replacement. That said, I truly appreciate the responsiveness and professionalism shown by both the seller and Amazon. For the after-sales support alone, I would give 5 stars.One additional point future buyers should consider: In my opinion the software on these units appears to be generic and is used by multiple sellers. Because of this, customers from other vendors seem to be experiencing the same problem. I can confirm this from a colleague who had the issue on two separate devices. In both cases, firmware updates were provided, but the problem remained unresolved.My opinion, these devices need to be tested more extensively before being sold. I read many reviews before making my purchase, and unfortunately I now share the same lack of confidence in these units when it comes to Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other functions worked, but those key features did not.I hope the seller might consider working with previous customers who are willing to test updated units and provide honest feedback, as this could help confirm improvements and build confidence for future buyers.Original Review: I wish I could give this zero stars. After waiting so long to receive the item, it was a complete disappointment as neither android auto or apple car play works so its just a glorified bluetooth system. DO NOT BUY
