Has the appearance and function like a factory installed accessory.
This is my fifth aftermarket HUD and by far the best. Installation only required the popping off of two panels (pictures attached). The included instructions are rough but manageable. It is practically a 5 minutes installation job. The wiring harness comes in two pieces with small connectors to make snaking the harness down through the dash super easy. I hand to adjust the speed reading because it was reading about 4 mph faster then my RAV4’s speedometer. It literally took about 4 clicks calibrate the unit and now it is very accurate. The RPM display turns off when you go over 50 mph. It displays the turn signal on the windshield. There is a RPM over speed beep that can be set to the limit you desire. There is also a beep indicator with a corresponding light for a speed limit indicator, I set mine at 75 mph. The display itself is crisper than the RAV4 display. It looks and feels very elegant and convenient.

Constant electronic high-pitched noise is a deal breaker for an otherwise fine HUD.
Was easy to install and looks good.For fuel consumption, ONLY displays in liters.Occasionally will alert, without any correspondance to vehicle alerts (verified with an OBD1 diagnostic connect)The only part that’s a deal breaker for me is the constant noise of the device.There is a high-pitched electronic whine that is audible over freeway-speed road noise.Unless I’m listening to loud music, I won’t be plugging the device in, unfortunately.I wish I installed and tested this earlier, that way I could return the product…

Worth the money
Item works as advertised plug and play. I had it installed in 5 minutes. Worth the money. Just before installing carefully pull the circle plastic piece off so it fits perfect. And tuck in the wire on the side paneling. I will buy again if needed too

I’ve never done an install review, but the instructions supplied with this are completely useless, so I felt the need to assist. There’s a YouTuber who has done a full video so definitely go watch his to get a good idea, I got kit for a slightly newer model so I was showing the differences.It looks intimidating to install and ngl I put this off for way too long for it taking me less than an hour to do.All you need is a Philips head screwdriver and a 10mm socket. I started the video half way through tearing things apart but it’s really not too bad to do the work.As for quality and function, so far it seems pretty good. I’ll update after I’ve had it running for a few weeks and see how I like all the features, but so far it looks bright and easy to read without being too distracting. Idk why a HUD appeals so much to me and I was so disappointed when Toyota didn’t offer it on any of the models, so finding this was really exciting. I love having plug and play upgrades to customize my car with as I plan to drive this car into the dirt for at least another decade.You do have to peel off the back circle of the HUD cover plate to sit over the speaker correctly, but the M3 tape comes off easy enough. Things snap into place well enough after that, and it’s a nice feature to spice up your vehicle with. The manufacturer should seriously look into doing a legit instruction video for install to include with a QR or something in the packaging because what they supply isn’t just difficult to follow but the phrasing is nonsensical AI translation.

This electronic HUD is a fantastic addition to my car. The display is bright and easy to read in all lighting conditions, including direct sunlight. It projects speed and navigation right in my line of sight, which makes driving safer and less distracting. Installation was straightforward, and the unit feels very well-built.
