Best bang for the buck
This was kit made it SUPER easy to wire up my Hella 500FF yellow fog lamps installed on my 84 Dodge van!Plenty of wiring to reach from the battery to the front bumper (too much for my application) a built in connection from the interior switch to the relay harness makes it easy to route the wires as needed. It even includes a 30 amp fuse and eyelets to connect the wiring to the battery.The ONLY complaint I have, and this is more about personal preference, the included three wire lighted switch has a more European feel/design to it. Also, it uses the smallest terminal blades for female connectors. I ended up using a covered switch and had to cutoff and replace the supplied connections. Not a deal breaker, but worth noting.I would DEFINITELY purchase this kit again!**While some have said the instructions are not very clear (they aren’t) I think some of that is ‘lost in translation’

Great purchase compared to less expensive harness w/o pigtails
What I liked: 1. Solid crimping at terminal ends 2. good quality material 3. Harness comes with a red backlit on/off switch (not pictured on this listing) 4. Harness was long enough to install unde the hood of my ‘02 Ram 1500 Van.What I did not like: 1.The color coding on the wiring to the on/off switch has blue as the power line 2.The wiring for each light, the switch and main power line, all run back to the relay.Would I buy this again? It depends. Well worth the price for a harness that includes pigtails. AutoZone sells each pigtail for $6+tax. If I wanted to install the relay and fuse under the dash, then I would buy a harness that has one wire running back to the two lights. That way you diminish the amount of wires going through the firewall.Side Notes: I found a harness that was ~$10 cheaper that ran one wire to both lights BUT DIDN’T HAVE PIGTAILS (good option for those wanting to use OEM pigtails) and Harbor Freight cable clamps helped make the installation look decent.

Update: I’ve purchased 4 of these harnesses, now. Best feature is being able to wire the lights, horns, or whatever with the short harnesses at the workbench and then easily plugging them into the main harness after it has been run out to the front of the vehicle.Great harness. I’ve purchased two so far and will purchase more, as needed. I used one harness to wire a set of Hella Black Magic Driving Lights to work off the included switch. I used the second harness to wire a set of Hella Supertone Horns to work off the horn switch. Purchasing a third harness for a set of Hella 500 fog lamps.

Hellas are night busters.
These driving lights are fantastic. I’ve mounted them below the bumper on my JCW Mini Cooper. They are brighter than my Xenon headlights on high beam. The Hellas beams project out to the sides at about 25 degrees and create a wide angle of illumination. I bought the wiring harness which was easy to hook up. Just have to figure out how to fish the switch inside to mount it on the dash. Very happy with these beautifully designed lamps.

Works fine, easy to fit. Waterproofing and wire connections seem solid. Wire gauge is good. Fitted it in 30 minutes, works fine. If you want to link your spotlights to your high beam you’ll have to work out how yourself, as this harness only supports an on-off switch. Easy will some online help.

I’m a long way from installing it yet, BUT, it does appear very well constructed, with enough length to fit most vehicles (which in my case, is wayyyy too long); I’m probably going to have to shorten it (going in ’68 VW beetle). Been a Hella user for many years, keep up the good work!

I would highly recommend this wiring kit for ANY aux light install. Much better and easier to wire than the included wiring kit that comes with Hellas.
