Great for blocking weld splatter and keeping heat of electrical parts near engine bay. Adhesive is just enough to hold but can also be mounted with plastic fasteners as I have done.

Worked very well to keep my fridge from getting hot. My fridge is next to the stove and it would get hot to the touch using the stovetop luckily this fixed it for a good price. Unrolled it and stuck it on easy.

This product really works on the shelf above our gas fireplace!We have a sound bar on a shelf above the gas fireplace, and we were concerned that the soundbar would melt whenever the fireplace was turned on. Sticks well, and is saving my fridge from melting as it is next to my stove. The shield does get loose fibers on occasion at the top of the shield, it wouldn’t be an issue if my kids stopped pulling them off probably. Perhaps some clear nail polish would prevent that?
