Speed seems a little off
Easy to set up. In bright daylight I have noticed a little bit of washout. As others have said the speed seems a little off, but my speedometer was not working at all, so at least this gets me close. Road signs that show your speed has me about 5mph slower than the speedometer.

Good quality, reads 3 mph fast. Couldn’t be easier to install and you don’t have to mess with it a whole lot if at all. It does pull volts so I unplug it at night because it drains my battery a bit. It isn’t the brightest and hard to read during the day when it’s really sunny however. Overall this functions as it should and I’m sure some tint or something would make it look sharper and easier to see.

Dont buy this one, is not accurate at all
The GPS is off by a lot. It was like 3-5 mph off. Worst item for telling my actual speed. How can it fail so miserably on its only job.

EXCELLENT UNIT AT A VERY GOOD PRICE. I INSTALLED ON A 66 MUSTANG AND CHECKED SPPED AGIANST THEAPP ON MY PHONE. UNIT READDS WITHIN 2MPH OF PHONE. EASY TO READ THE LITTLE MIRROR. SCREEN LOOKS a LITTLE FDUNKY ON A VINTAGE CAR BUT NO OTHER COMPLAINTS. I will buy again for my other cars this unit sahould work with 6 volt systems

I want to like this but I won’t be using it
The price point, physical design, display, and reaction time are all great. It’s fatal issue is it reports speed about 10% higher than actual, which is annoying when driving on the highway.

Consistently accurate to about 2 mph
Good sold build. Seems to be consistently accurate to about 2 mph according to the cars speedometer. I have mine mounted close to where the windshield meets the dash so that the display doesn’t obstruct my view when driving. At that range, the displayed numbers are about 1 1/2 inches high. I find the display on the windshield shows a slight double image, but the might be because I do have it so close to the windshield. But it is not enough to be distracting. The other thing that I find, is that the display is quite hard to see on very sunny days. Oddly enough I have found that SOME sunglass make it easier to read when this happens…. but not all sunglasses. I tried a couple of different pairs that I have until I found the one that works best.

The HUD works very well with a cable of my own. Unfortunately, when I first connected it, it it just beeped and flashed continuously. After a lot of testing I found the supplied power cable was faulty. I will seek a replacement. If it had a good cable I would have given it 5 stars
