Very happy with this garage mat…
I have tried several different styles of garage mat and this one is my favorite so far. My previous experiences have been with felt like mats that absorbed liquid. These were frustrating because debris like leaves would stick to them and be almost impossible to remove. They ended up looking horrible because they were covered in junk. I saw this garage mat and gave it a shot. I was very happy to find that the surface of this mat is smooth and I can remove debris with a common blower. Also, the raised edges are significant enough to prevent spillage, but not so big and obnoxious that they provide a tripping hazard. Another huge benefit for me is that this mat can be portable. I specifically chose not to attach it to the floor because I need the mat to follow my old jeep between garages. This mat is heavy enough that it stays in place under its own weight, but it’s very easy to roll up and take somewhere else. I didn’t have any issues with the mat sliding when I move the jeep. Lastly, the material appears to be very durable and I anticipate this productis going to last quite a while. It’s everything I needed for the old jeep.

Will definitely keep fluids off the floor, but not ideal for regular use
My first comment on this mat is that it is huge, and the listing calls out the options incorrectly. They have an option for a mat in “beige”, and one in black. But the beige one is really just the longer length (21′) versus the black one saying it is about 19′. It appears that both options are actually a black mat, it’s only the length that differs. But unless you are parking a really long truck, van, or SUV on this mat you do NOT want the longer mat, as it is way too long and then just gets in your way.I’m also not thrilled with how it is very difficult to remove wrinkles and folds in the mat to have it lay flat on your floor. My floor has an epoxy finish, and this mat tends to stick to it, making it tough to flatten out. I know it comes with velcro that can be used to keep it in place, but I want the flexibility to move it to a different spot and not have patches of velcro stuck to my floor all the time.Where this mat does shine is in its ability to contain virtually any liquid on it, whether that be rain, snow, oil, coolant, or some other mystery fluid coming out of your vehicle. I personally won’t use it for snow melt, but rather will use it as a shop mat in the garage where we do maintenance or my son is working on a car enhancement or fix. He currently has a coolant leak in his track car so this mat goes underneath while he searches for the leak. Even if gallons of fluid pour out, the nice thickened edge keeps everything from spilling out onto unprotected floor surfaces. It is perfect for this since I don’t care how it looks.I also like that this can be rolled or folded up easily, making it simple to store it away.Handy mat for a variety of uses just don’t expect it to look great on the floor.

Keeps your garage cleaner longer
This garage containment mat is perfect keeping your floor clean during the winter or rainy months. It has soft raised edges that you can drive over without worrying about it breaking down or crushing. When the snow falls off of your car, it is contained easily within the mat. Once the snow melts, you can easily use the included squeegee to whisk the water out of the garage. The mat seems durable with thick plastic that has a woven fabric look. It has enough weight to lay flat when unfolded, but there also is included adhesive Velcro pads that you can mount under each corner to help keep it in place. You will need to sweep your floor and ensure that it is debris free before laying this mat down to ensure you don’t get any punctures from sharp gravel or other items. Nevertheless, once you clean your floor it will stay cleaner longer while the messes are contained within this mat. This mat functions well at keeping water contained and off of your garage floor. If you live in snowy or rainy areas, this mat is the perfect accessory for your garage.

Not what I expected, but still awesome
Ok, first things first and in full disclosure… I did not fully grasp what I had ordered. That’s on me and I won’t dock or award stars because of my negligence. That being said… this wasn’t what I expected, but it was also better than I expected.The size is suitable for one car. This ended up being prefect for me during the engine swap I had to do on my girlfriends car. It caught all the extra fluids and made it easy to soak them up and dispose of them. This is NOT one of those fancy looking rubber mats (what I thought it was) and that’s perfectly ok because it does exactly what the description says (again… I didn’t read the description properly).I should at least elaborate on what I thought I was getting… I thought I was getting a large, smooth rubber mat.Thankfully, this thing still worked perfectly for what it was designed for.
