Suprise!!!
So, I was a bit skeptical about buying a hunk of memory foam, for the price. But this cushion not only provides support, but it is also comfortable and really helps alleviate pain from an old injury. I play games online as well as banking and surfing. Surprise!!! My legs aren’t hurting. Maybe I found something specific to aiding my injury…who knows. I’m satisfied. Couple of things I noticed…memory foam holds heat, so sometimes it’s a bit warm and the size of the cushions doesn’t fit my office chair very well. But still a great product.

Good, but not perfect
I bought this orthopedic chair for my grandfather. It’s not the best chair out there, but it does the job and provides decent support. It’s comfortable enough for daily use and seems fairly sturdy. Overall, it’s a good option for the price.

Not Enough Cush for my Tush
I hate leaving a bad review, it’s not something I typically do but, for me personally, this product just isn’t what I needed.Now, I gave 3 stars because the product showed up in perfect condition. It wasn’t defective or anything with the product itself. Doesn’t have any weird smells or anything like that.The issue is it’s just too stiff. I have been cursed with literally no cush in my tush. Even as I’ve gotten older & my weight has fluctuated, I am apparently incapable of forming something comfortable to sit on.So, I’m needing something soft that gives way to my boney behind and, unfortunately, this isn’t it. I’m not exaggerating, my sad excuse for a trunk with no junk will physically cause you pain if I sit on your lap.I started my Masters program online & I am now having to sit for many hours at a time. I knew I would need something to substitute for my lack of a juicy bubble & I went in search of something made of memory foam. This is memory foam, I am just not able to make it form a memory of me. It very much holds it’s shape.So, for someone looking for support? I’d say this would be a good option as it holds it’s shape well. Unfortunately, I purchased this back in Feb & it wasn’t until about April when I sat in it long enough to realize the cushion didn’t give way enough to keep my bottom from hurting. So, I was pretty sure I had missed the return window. So, it remains with me as my search for a “sitting on a cloud” experience continues.Again, not a bad product itself. Just not what I personally am needing. However, I have no way of knowing how it works for people who need more support. So, I had to rank based on my personal experience.

Instant relief
TL;DR This product provided me immediate relief and for the price, I strongly recommend at least trying it out if you have back pain or sciatic pain while sitting in chairs.I’ve been struggling with bad back problems for the past two years since a car accident. Herniated discs, sciatica and other issues that haven’t been completely diagnosed yet. I’m in my early 30’s and never had back issues before so it hadn’t occurred to me to buy products like this before. I spend a lot of my off-work hours sitting at a desk writing and playing games but for the last several months I’ve had to move my set up to use from bed because it hurt too much to sit up in my chair. After recovering from an injury, I attempt to sit back at my desk but the pain begins to increase again until another mistake that would cause my back to go back to square one. I bought this today as of this review, same day delivery and I got immediate relief upon setting this bad boy up. First time I’ve sat at my desk in years and it doesn’t hurt – I feel like I can write again without the pain and discomfort causing me to lose much needed focus. I don’t know how well or long this will hold up but 30 bucks for this immediate relief made this the best purchase I’ve done in ages. When I say immediate relief, I mean it. My lower back feels properly supported and my ass doesn’t hurt like hell, and the pain radiating down to my legs quickly faded away. It is on the cheaper end so I’m not expecting this to last forever but its absolutely worth trying out to see if it helps you as well. This is also the first time I’ve bothered writing a review for a product before – that’s how much this product impacted me just within the first few hours.

Paso muchas horas en mi mesa de modelismo, a veces en una postura muy estática y encorvada (“postura de gamba”) para pintar detalles. Mi silla de taller es básica y dura, y acababa con dolor de coxis y lumbares. En lugar de comprar una silla nueva cara, decidí probar este kit de FORTEM para “tunear” la que ya tenía.Lo que me ha gustado (Ergonomía real):-El cojín de asiento (Forma de U): Esto es lo mejor. Tiene un recorte en la parte trasera para que el coxis quede “flotando” y no apoye contra el asiento duro. Alivió la presión en la base de la columna casi al instante. La espuma es densa, no se aplasta hasta tocar la madera en cuanto te sientas.-El respaldo lumbar: Te obliga físicamente a sentarte recto. Si intentas escurrirte en la silla, el cojín te empuja. Para trabajos de precisión donde necesitas estabilidad, ayuda a mantener la espalda alineada.Lo que debes tener en cuenta (Cambio de geometría):Aumenta tu altura: El cojín levanta unos 5-7 cm. Ojo con esto:-Tendrás que bajar el pistón de tu silla.-Si tu silla no baja más, puede que tus rodillas choquen con la mesa o cajonera. Mídelo antes.-Calor: Es espuma viscoelástica (Memory Foam). En invierno es una gozada, pero en verano da calor. Es el precio a pagar por la comodidad.Consejo de Mantenimiento:-Fundas lavables: Como en el taller hay polvo de lijado y suciedad, agradezco que las fundas tengan cremallera y se puedan meter a la lavadora. El terciopelo atrapa el polvo, así que hay que lavarlas a menudo.Conclusión:Es la actualización más barata y efectiva para tu salud si pasas horas sentado. Por una fracción de lo que cuesta una silla “Gaming” o ergonómica, conviertes tu silla vieja en un trono cómodo. Mis sesiones de pintura de 4 horas ahora son mucho más llevaderas.
