Great upgrade and very easy installation. This CarPlay stereo is a perfect replacement for the factory radio in my Ford Focus. The screen is very clear and responsive, and it looks great once installed. Absolutely horrible product. Worked for maybe 6 months. Then started rebooting randomly, sound would cut in and out, or not connect at all. 1 year in and it won’t even turn on

Overall Satisfied and happy to have music in my car again!
The first unit failed shortly after installation. It worked for about 10 minutes before the screen went black, and soon after, I noticed a burning smell. Luckily, I hadn’t secured the bottom screws yet, so I was able to quickly remove the unit from the dash. It was smoking, so I immediately unplugged everything. I ordered a replacement and returned the defective unit to Amazon a few hours ago.The second unit is working great! I also installed an additional USB port for easier access. Climate control and steering wheel buttons are functioning perfectly. I have the upgraded SONY audio system (2012 Focus SEL), and even the stock subwoofer is working. When I shift into reverse, the screen displays the backup camera interface, but I haven’t been able to get the camera to work. I connected the yellow video cable, but there’s no video feed when I put the car in reverse. I plan to reach out to the seller for assistance.The installation process was mostly plug-and-play, though I had to search through various online videos—each one slightly different. My stock Ford Sync stopped working years ago, and I haven’t had a radio in this car for a long time, so I’m thrilled to finally have music again without relying on an earbud!

Couldn’t get camer working
Having trouble with the 2gb version. It turn off suddenly sometimes. Like overheating. Eaven that I set the fan to work continuously

2012 Ford Focus base model
It’s definitely a Chinese style radio, like cheaply made. The wiring process is long and some of it doesn’t make sense. The website it also has all over the instructions is not a website. The camera is proving to be one of the hardest parts of it so far. The sound quality is better than mid, but I’ve noticed a crackle in the sound if it goes over 30 (0-36volume) my phone stays connected pretty okay and I didn’t have to download anything separately. The WiFi is a little touchy. It will turn on then turn right back off. Then it will connect and be good for an hr or so till it disconnects. It was definitely an upgrade from what I had but it’s still low-mid quality of a product. Buuuuut the price was good so I guess it’s worth it. And it definitely looks nice in my car.
