Superior performance!
This is a great product. After 2 coats and almost 2 months the tires are still sheening and free of any blooming/browning. They don’t look as wet as initial application but this FX35 is a daily driver on the extremely harsh New Jersey roads with multiple washes during that time using P&S wheel cleaner for maintenance. Black magic (spray & foam), Meguiars tire shine & gel (not a fan of gel), and VRP were all previously used products that do their thing but don’t come close to being as strong or lasting as long as Exo.1. Make sure your tires are clean. I patiently did 3 rounds on each tire with Adam’s wheel cleaner and a stiff bristle dish brush. I use P&S wheel cleaner to maintain.2. I found the Filiverco auto tire brush to work best for applying vs foam applicators. To me, using Exo is more of tire painting than dressing so the brush helped install a level layer. After 30 min I applied another coat. You do have to clean the brush after each use as Exo will harden as it dries. Couple sprays of pad cleaner and some agitation will do.3. Reduce drag. I noticed when you try and spread too thin, push too hard, or your applicator is clogged there is a tendency to drag and streak which may require a reset.This was my experience and Exo is all I currently use on all my cars. Does not last even when specific instructions are followed.
When I received the product, there was a sticker on it saying “watch this video first”. So I watched the video. The guy on the video said they get a lot of bad reviews because the product doesn’t last. He blamed the customers for not applying it correctly and went through steps of cleaning the tires and applying the product.The tires that I applied it to were brand new. I only had them on the car for 2 days before I applied the product but I still followed the directions in the video and used a Tire/Wheel cleaner and scrubbed the tires with a brush 3 times on each tire. I rinsed them off well and let them dry like the video says. I then applied a coat of the product to each tire and waited 20 minutes then applied another coat to each tire just like he does in the video for a “glossier and longer lasting shine”. The tires looked great after the product dried. The video says wait 20 minutes before driving if you need to, I waited an hour and a half before driving. Dry roads, and no rain at all but the tires have zero gloss after a week of applying the product and I only drove about 10 miles each day.If you do use this stuff, make sure you wear gloves. The residue it left on my hands lasted longer than it did on the tires. I had very shiny hands for a few days 🤣. Don’t waste $30.00 on this stuff.

Good while it lasted
Works like advertised, keeps it’s mild shine after rain & multiple car washes but the next season the remaining third left in the bottle turned into a grainy, watery unusable mess…too bad they stopped making it.

Easy to apply, not long lasting
I purchased this product in hopes of having the amazing long lasting shine and durability advertised. When first used, you do see a definite difference, but it seems like day after day it would get more and more dull. I live in a small rural town and the weather had been on the cool side. I thought maybe that had something to do with it. I waited a month or 2 and tried it again as it started to warm up, same easy application and great shine first day but again day after day more and more dull. Now to be fair my tires are knobby MT 33’s so I thought that might be an issue. So I tried again a few weeks later (recently 4/20/24) but this time I got another product made specifically to clean dirty tires (rather than just car wash soap and water). I scrubbed and washed those things till it felt like I was taking tread off. Now, I did get a little better results after a DEEP tire cleaning and the shine did last maybe a day more than before, but not the crazy 3 months or whatever time the ad said. Again when you buy something in a plastic bottle advertised to have life changing results, you always have to know that it might be BS. In my humble opinion this product is just that. I’d say use it before some kind of photoshoot, car show or somewhere you want people to be impressed by your car (for a day or 2 max). Glad it didn’t break the bank to try, but I definitely won’t be purchasing again.

The process in applying isn’t worth it for me. I wash my car at least weekly and don’t mind applying tire shine every week. The process for this tire shine involves cleaning and scrubbing each tire until they are perfectly clean. I normal clean my tires pretty good but when you watch the application video you will see how clean you have to get the tire for this stuff to work. When applied it looks a little less glossy then what I normally use. I have found various other tire shines that look just as good.
