Great for a wireless trip
I took this on an international trip recently, on one flight it was a single plug, and the other had the double. Because this includes the adapter, I was able to use it on both. My headphones connect without any problem or tricky setup. The battery lasts for a really long time – I didn’t even charge it between flights and it worked the entire time. It’s small so it fits into the case I keep my headphones in. I didn’t notice any issues with volume or static. I really like the freedom of not being wired to my seat when flying.

Solid Item
I was impressed with this one. It actually worked well. Bluetooth sync was good. Sound quality was good. No lag time either. Charge didn’t last beyond 4 hours of use for me but since its plugged in, that’s a non-issue now as it has usbc and works while being charged.

Good for PS Portal, use your existing wireless bluetooth earbuds/headset
Got this so I could use my AirPods with my PS Portal (it has no built-in bluetooth, only proprietary PS Link, and I can’t bring myself to spend another $200 on earbuds just for gaming). It does the job, holds a good connection, has a decent battery life, and audio quality is decent. Not stellar, but serviceable – I probably wouldn’t rely on it for playing competitive multiplayer games that rely on sound cues as an essential part of gameplay, but then again I wouldn’t play online competitively with a handheld. My only complaint is that it sticks out past the bottom of the device, so it’s a little awkward depending where you want to rest it, but it’s at least nice that the connector is flexible enough that it can move out of the way for the most part. Note that it doesn’t hold its shape like the picture kind of implies – it sticks straight out at rest. Anyway, I looked at probably 30 of these and couldn’t really find one that was significantly smaller, and the ones with a small cord looked like they’d be annoying dangling off the back of the handheld. This one is unnoticeable for the most part, so I can’t complain.Oh, one thing – if you’re planning to use a gaming headset, as far as I know it will work but you’ll just be using the built-in mic on the PS Portal itself, I don’t think there’s a way to hear the audio AND send voice from the headset mic because it has to be in either “Transmit” or “Receive” mode (TX/RX). But I was able to communicate just fine nonetheless.

Love it
I have this in my AUX port on my 2009 Honda Fit to provide a Bluetooth connection into the audio system. The battery life is not great, but it will work while the charger is attached, so I ran one USB-C cable up the dash to my phone and another to this adapter. Both stay charged all the time.

Caught fire! Warning! Do not buy!!!
Caught fire. Before you think it was plugged into something with to much charge, it was plugged into a standard USB C 5v charger.1. Out of the box it wouldn’t keep a charge.2. When it did hold a charge, the voltage would say 30% charge, then power off and back on and charge went to 70%.3. Powering device off still consumed power. After a week of using for 10 minutes a day. Would nearly die. This product is not safe to use. We smelled a hot plastic smell in the car and when my wife pulled the device off USB C cable it was stuck. It was melted into the socket. This is dangerous and should be taken off the market.Final note. The device is on and now won’t turn off which means the switch is probably shorted. You have been warned!!!

Great Concept, Mixed Performance
I love the concept of this Receiver, and it works great for headphones with a full connection (like over-the-ear or traditional wired headphones). However, when trying to use it with ear buds that rely on separate signals, it struggles and often results in only one ear working. It’s a handy device for certain uses, but the performance is inconsistent with all audio devices.

Great Bluetooth receiver and transmitter for its price!
Works as advertised and intended. Connectivity was superb, the device was able to work both as a receiver and a transmitter. I tested it by connecting my TV to my Bluetooth earphones and the audio quality was good. Great product for its price.
