Amazing product! Very high quality and the instructions are very clear. I had a rack that I used on my BMW X5 that was a little too short for the Porsche. The fit is perfect, looks great, and is actually much more stable than my old one. I also like to take the rack off when not using it, and this mounts and dismounts very easily once it’s been fitted to the car. Definitely recommend, and it is an excellent value for the price. Holds 2 sets of kayak J-bars. The one the Porsche dealer sells is not as nice and is $650.

Perfect Fit For My 2018 Q7
I was looking for compatible crossbars for my 2018 Audi Q7 – and the cost from the OEM and major brands seemed crazy high. This cross bar set from ERKUL was much less expensive and totally meets my needs.The fit with my Q7 is pretty perfect, and these are quite secure and look like they belong on the car. Assembly is quite easy – after you remove the protective tape from the crossbars, the ends are attached (pressure fit). Installing on the car was also easy – it took me a few minutes to figure out what was what. Thankfully, the parts are labelled left and right and front and back (as applicable). Once on the car rack, it was a bit tricky to locate the hole for the screws, but after the first one I got the hand of it. Likewise, getting the locking doors on the ends took a few tried, but it all worked.I have a turtle that I will carry on the crossbars, and put in on just for fit and it’s good.I’m giving this five stars for the quality and the fit. The instructions are pretty minimal, and there is a QR code for a video showing the entire process. This was helpful but had no sound or subtitles, but it worked out. Overall, highly recommended.

Very happy with purchase, perfect fit on 23 Q7
Needed rails in a hurry as the OEM rails were 2wk+ delivery time. Emailed the vendor and they were very responsive in clearing up the details seen on the other reviews regarding appearance and installation, decided to go with this set and its been on since July and hasn’t come off. Confirmed with Audi Techs & service that the OEM rail doesn’t have any unique features as the car will detect a load on the car and adjust itself accordingly especially with the air suspension. From asking around OEM is Thule and its not the aerodynamic version of the rails and only came in silver when the only color available years ago when I got the car was all black… go figure (also of note is at the time of writing the Thule rail in all its many parts needed is nearly the same cost as the box).This mounts very securely to the rails of the ’23 Q7. The the stock bolts that screw to the roof rails were replaced with smaller/flatter head BUT same hex size as the adjustment screws (M6-1.0 x 60mm Flat Round Head Hex) so I can keep 1 hex wrench in the car rather than keep 2 different sizes as the cross bar adjustment hex was a different sized head from the rail screws, this made it easier. The smaller head bolt removed the small protrusion of the plastic cover that ppl talked about in other reviews of this item. Conversation with the manufacturer says that the plastic cover is designed to flex and that its within spec and completely acceptable, but I just didn’t care for it that way and the smaller head makes it tidy and streamline and more satisfied… entirely cosmetic.1) there’s a Erkul video showing installation of the rails on a Q7 on their website, instructions say v3 of the rail was received.2) only 2 of the included rail screws/washer caused the cover to bulge out a little, only knowing about it in advance had me look for a solution which i found in reviews and forums (and its really cheap fix), thx to those.The cross bars by itself has no real wind noise unless you have the sunroof curtain opened and >70mph, even then you would only notice because your looking for it, curtain closed you can’t hear anything.Overall the look, feel and build of the these bars are very good, I am very satisfied adding this to my Q7… driven 1200 miles with these and the sunroof (with out the box on) can be tilted/opened without touching the cross bars! I haven’t taken them off yet as I thought I would after the trip because it just fits and I can spot the car easier 🙂 Can’t wait for the next trip that calls for the box again as I feel the rails added to the usefulness of the car on longer/larger family trips.**PSA … know the height of your car with the rails+box after installing it as that comes in handy in some indoor parking situations**

Good value, some missing info
These fit perfect. However the directions are missing a step regarding the rubber pieces that should come mounted to the clamps. They are not called out in the directions or the installation video. So I had these 8 rubber pieces that I had to figure out what they were used for. Also the kit comes with two Allen wrenches, not the nice handled Allen wrench as it shows in the manual. Luckily I had mine from my old roof rails which stops you from over tightening. Good for the price but it needs attention to detail.
