I frequently travel 800 miles without stopping as much as I should. This seat cushions my right side, making the trip bearable. But like the doctor says, if I don’t take care of my back, it won’t take care of me. I take a few more stops.Value – great, reduces pain.Softness – great; it is firm with some compression of gel.Thickness – maybe a bit thick; I am tall, so it is an adjustment to be up so high, but it takes care of the pain.

Supportive and helpful with pain relief
So far, so good! We got this for a family member suffering from sciatica. Overall first impressions are good. They’ve only been using it for a few days but they have noted the comfort and relief they feel when using the seat cushion. It’s been used in a recliner, bench seat and car and the comfort seems to be quite noticeable. I’m considering getting another one that can be left in the car. I think it’s a good value for the money, the foam is soft but firm and the cover is soft .

Worthwhile purchase
There were some reviews saying that what they got wasn’t what was advertised. Mine is fine. No synthetic smell to it, either. I find it comfortable; I’m using a hard wooden chair for work at the moment, and my butt ain’t as well padded as it used to be. Well, maybe the padding is still there, but it’s floppier and shifts around more, and hard seats aren’t great for 8 hours a day. Anyway, I researched and read hundreds of reviews before finally buying this one. While the contours take some getting used to, I find that it does help me sit straighter, it protects my bones from the hard chair, and it keeps me from pushing forward too much on the seat. I don’t experience coccyx pain, so I didn’t need the cutout in the back, but I rather like the relief of pressure there. Turns out it feels better!I’ve been using it for 2 days now, and I find it a little hard in the first few seconds, but then it quickly softens to mold around my body. I have not found that it flattens out over hours, as some have said. I’m 5’8″, about 130 pounds, so I’m not putting a lot of stress on it. It’s a little less deep than I expected, and I was at first a little concerned about that, but the depth is actually fine. It’s plenty wide enough to cover the chair easily, and I don’t have any trouble with parts of me splooshing over. I don’t find that it gets hot or that I get sweaty, but that’s not usually much of a problem for me anyway. I’m more likely to run cold than hot. Although I haven’t used it in the car, it’s small enough and easy enough to carry that it should be quite portable. I haven’t taken the cover off; I’ll update this review should I need to in the future. I’m happy with my purchase.

Beware is not for a large person
I knew it was not very thick but ignored that since it has Gel in it, but the size is definitely for a small person basically a larger sized kid. For what I paid I did not get much. A small kid sized NOT Adult sized cuhion. Live and Learn. A costly mistake on my part. Very Expensive and tiny cushion. because so small I can’t rate mu9ch as NOT Comfaortasble, Will not last or retain any shape. Will have to purchase a different one.

Very Comfortable for Long Trips
Took this all the way to Japan and back. Usually my tailbone is sore after several hours on a plane. Traveled all day with no issues. Used small carabiner and hair elastic to secure it to the side of my luggage, slipping the elastic over the luggage handle. Nice on trains, too. Does add some height, so you may need more foot support. Cooling, soft, sturdy handle, & retained shape. Have already recommended it to friends who travel. Will be taking this on the next road trip:) Black blends in, so nearly left it behind on the plane. A more noticable color may help with that. However, would recommend they make the cutout a little smaller. Great purchase.

I am a fan! This cushion is great. I do rideshare full time & after a shift my back is worn. Since using this product, my back is so much less fatigued. Posture is better & all around attitude is better. If I nit pick, I would like to see the cushion be a little longer to support my thigh. I will mention that the seat will let you know when support is off. If you feel any discomfort I’m betting the cushion needs adjusting. Also retains its shape.
