Awesome product so far! I love chemical guys and decided to try this finish. Even in the garage without the sunlight the finish is *chefs kiss*. I use turtle wax hybrid ceramic coating first (2 coats) as I normally do then applied two coats of this product. I used a microfiber sponge applicator for the finish and buffed with a buffing towel. Easy on and surprisingly easy to wipe off. It’s not liquid glass but if you want a quick and easy shine… try it. Smells nice also. I used it on trim, headlights, and rims. No idea how long it lasts lol but cause I literally just put it on but I’m impressed. If I remember I’ll come back and let you all know.

Best wax ever – not kidding!
We have 2 classic cars we restored and put in shows, along with our regular daily drivers. Some of the cars are darker colors, like grey, blue, or black, and the others are white and a light seafoam green. The problems I’ve had with other waxes, including other higher end products was streaking, and not being able to remove the swirls. Not so with Black light. This is hands down the best wax I have ever used.The application is simple, and I’ve done it in shade as well as sun, both with excellent results. Use a microfiber applicator to apply, thin, not thick coats in a circular motion. Then wait – let it set for 15 minutes. Final step – use a clean microfiber cloth to remove. It removes so easy, and leaves no swirl or haze like other waxes. The depth of shine is also noticeable. It makes the paint smooth with a deep shine, no matter the color or if its metallic or not. It just looks great. Bonus – it even smells great!I was so impressed I ordered a few more of their products and we’ll be testing those shortly. For years I’ve bought and tried almost everything at stores and car shows and nothing impressed me. Black Light impresses me so much I’ll be using it exclusively from now on. It’s really that good.

So far so good. I have a huge Land Cruiser to wax so I do it sections at a time. Did the hood and the roof and it rained the next day. Water beaded up and off well and shine and appearance is great. I’ve heard good things about this product. I will stick with it if it continues to perform the way it has thus far.

Nice smooth finish
This stuff is great! I’ve been using Nu-Finish (the stuff in the orange container) for years and have not been able to find anything that comes close to it’s durability until now. The only complaint I have about Nu-Finish is the excessive amount of powder (aka dust) that it leaves behind. That is not really a problem on my silver car, but is a real pain in the @** with my black truck.I bought a low mileage 2002 Chevy Avalanche a few years ago and, as expected, sitting outside in the harsh central Florida sun quickly caused the factory clear coat on the roof and hood to de-laminate and start to look really bad. I decided to sand them down and have them re-painted a couple of years ago and have been looking for something that would protect the new paint without me having to wax it 2-3 times a month. I think I have finally found it!About 2 weeks after getting the new paint job I applied a good commercial grade sealer to it (Cobalt Ceramic Clear Coat). Expensive stuff in a small bottle, but it did a good job and I was amazed when that little bottle contained enough liquid to cover the new paint 2 times and still had some left.After trying numerous polishes and sealers I came across Poorboy’s World EX-P. The main reason I tried it is because it can be applied in moderate sunlight and was semi-pleased to find that it held up for 4-6 weeks before a new coat was needed. Much better than any of the others that I’d tried. Then, a few months ago I saw a short video featuring Chemical Guy’s Black Light and decided to give it a try. I liked the way it went on and how easy it was to wipe off leaving little residue behind and was sold on it after seeing that after 6 weeks it was still holding up to the harsh elements.The only thing left to tackle at that point were the small nicks and chips along the sides of the truck that looked like little white specks after applying any type of polish. None of the “black” products that I had tried really worked to hide the specks until I tried Turtle Wax Color Magic Jet Black Polish. That stuff really works, but like any polish/wax has a short life span. A few good rains and it’s pretty much gone. Also, it’s really black, so be sure to wear gloves when applying if you don’t want black hands when you are done. Don’t even bother with the Turtle Wax Jet Black Spray Wax, it’s worthless as a polish but does work OK as a waterless car wash or quick detailer.I was curious to see if the Chemical Guy’s Black Light would seal on top of the Turtle Wax Jet Black Polish without removing it to expose the white specks again so I tried it and was pleased to find that it worked great. The Turtle Wax hid the white specks (chips) and the Black Light locked it in! That was about 2 months ago and, as you can see in the pictures, my trucks still looks like it was just polished!

A lot of products on the market make all sorts of promises regarding how they will instill exceptional shine, colour, etc. but this one actually delivers. It is actually incredible what this can do to a dark coloured car – the depth of colour and gloss are extraordinary and the product applies very easily. One thing to note – this is not a wax or a sealant. For best results, wash the car thoroughly using a good quality exterior shampoo, use a clay bar to remove any surface contaminants embedded in the paint/clear coat, then apply BlackLight. Finish by applying a good quality wax (I prefer carnauba paste) to protect the finish and impart good water shedding properties for the ultimate protection.

Excelente producto para revivir o intensificar el brillo de colores oscuros.Lo aplique una fina capa y lo deje que se curará por 15-20 minutos, y la forma de retirarlo es sumamente fácil. Los resultados fueron mejor de lo que pensé y definitivamente superó mis expectativas, y lo mejor es que ayuda a difuminar los micro rayones, aquellos que parecen telarañas y al final deja el acabado espejo y una pintura más clara y profunda.Por último la línea de Chemical Guys es perfecta!

The best car shine sealant ever. I read a lot of review about it but you have to experience it to believe it.Polished the car along with my bro in law. He was equally if not more amazed.I am hooked to this for a long long time to come. At least till Chemical Guys comes up with a better product than thisWord off advise. Use good quality microfibres to apply and then buff this. It’s kind of silly to spend so much on a product this good and use ‘a dirty rag’ to clean the car.
