can use maps and music and all that without messing around with my phone
My car is kinda old and did not come with any of that fancy touchscreen stuff. I was getting tired of trying to use my phone while driving, which is not safe and also super annoying. I wanted something that could let me use maps, music, and calls without holding my phone like a caveman. Saw this little screen thing and thought, alright, maybe this will help. Just needed it to be easy to use and not cost a fortune.Setting it up was not too bad. It plugged into the car lighter thing and turned on right away. The screen is clear enough and big enough to see without squinting. I got my phone hooked up through wireless Android Auto, and it worked after a few tries. The mount is a little janky though, took a few tries to get it to stick right without wobbling.One thing that kinda bugged me is the sound. If you do not run it through your car speakers, it sounds a little tinny, like a phone in a cup or something. Also, sometimes the screen gets a bit of glare if the sun hits it, so you gotta tilt it just right. Not deal breakers, just kinda small annoying stuff.But hey, it does what I needed. Now I can use maps and music and all that without messing around with my phone. Makes driving a little easier and I do not feel like I am living in the year 2002 anymore. Not perfect, but for the price, it works. Just do not expect it to be like some fancy built-in car system.

Easy to install and very useful
I bought this CarPlay screen for my husband’s truck, as it didn’t have a built-in one, and it’s been incredibly useful. Installation was simple; my husband was able to set it up without any issues, and daily use has also been a breeze.It connects quickly to the phone, whether using CarPlay or Android Auto. It’s worked wonders for listening to music, using GPS, and reading messages while driving. The picture is crystal clear, the screen responds to touch without delay, and the included rearview camera has been a great addition.

Good product for the cost of the unit
Overall, it took me about one minute to get the system connected to the phone. The mounts are easy to use and the included adhesive are very strong. I have not yet hooked up the back up camera as I will need to do more research on how to open up the back of the car to splice the wire needed to activate the camera. The quality of the screen is why I gave it four stars. For the price it is probably five stars, but the screen is definitely not overly sharp or any sort of high definition. Definitely functional, but not something that would compare to a factory installed screen.

The aux cord doesn’t work after just a few months
I love my car play. Gave it a 5 at the beginning. Does not obstruct my view while driving. I have it on my dashboard. After only a few months the cord that plugs into the aux opening is now loose. On both vehicles. It creates static and sometimes doesn’t even allow the music to play. That was a costly investment. I drive a lot and sure miss not listening to my music or audio books through the car speakers.
