This thing is great!
First off, not sure what the bad reviews are all about. It’s possible people are buying them incompatible systems. I believe you need a current apple CarPlay in your infotainment system to work. But I love this thing so far and have no regrets. Have had it approximately 3 months.Pros:1) You can watch just about anything on your screen including YouTube and YouTube TV, Netflix, etc. Who doesn’t like to watch sports on the go?2) WiFi connectivity is very good. Use your phone as the hotspot.3) processing speed is actually pretty good.You can switch through apps pretty quickly.4) Rarely crashes and appears to be pretty stable.5) Most google play store apps are compatibleCons:1) I have to disable Bluetooth through my system or it clashes with this. That’s ok though as this acts as your Bluetooth CarPlay device2) You may need to disable your spouses Bluetooth on your system too because that can override your connection if not.3) You need to wait for it to load then plug your phone in via usb if you wish to charge your phoneI would opt for the one with extra ram and storage personally.

Watch TV in the car
This thing is pretty neat as long as you have a phone with a wifi hotspot. Then you can download really anything. I watch netflix and prime on my cars infotainment

It works out of the box!
I would say its a 4.5 rating. Sent back the carlinkit 5.0, just wouldn’t work. Replaced it with the AI box 13 and android auto worked through the carplay port in my 18 Cayman. Basically plug and play. I have an S24Ultra. It does get a little glitchy at times but totally worth it. Turn bluetooth off an on and its fixed. You might want to look around as I’ve found deals for $60 cheaper. That said, I’m still happy with my Amazon purchase cause if it didn’t work, I would have sent it back through a simple process refund.

Wouldn’t work in the car
I got it and it won’t work in the car. I’ve tried a few things to get it to work but nothing. For an AI box it seems the GV80 software has out smarted it cause nothing comes up when you plug it into the car and I get and out sync date message.

Worked for a few months then died. I would not recommend spending more than $50-$60 on these devices, most of them do not last.

Full screen 2024 GM
It is easy to change from apple carplay to android auto to get the full screen compatibility. But any video from streaming services offered, just center up with black on each side instead of having the extra clock on right side. Also this one, doesn’t offer disney plus. I figured for $200 I’d get more options, same streaming options as my $60 box.

¡Muy bueno, la verdad que desconfiaba un poco porque hay tantas alternativas por internet que no cumplen con las características ofertadas que me parecía imposible que pudiera encontrar algo funcional que cumpliera con mis expectativas, pero aun así me decidí en comprarlo para probarlo, y extraordinaria sorpresa!!! El equipo ofrece un excelente funcionamiento y desempeño, la verdad que lo volvería a comprar de nuevo de ser necesario. Recomendable.
