bought as a replacement, this is much better quality
This was purchased to replace a different one that had a picture on it but it wasn’t very good quality and started falling apart. I have one similar to this for our other car and really like the heavy duty quality of it so I purchased this one in hopes it’d be similar and it is. It is pretty thick, the material feels like it will hold up well over time. I like how easy it is to fold up and hook the attached strap around it so it stays folded up. It is very large and snuggly fits in the front of our hyundai sonata. I haven’t used the suction cups yet, they honestly looked pretty folded and like they may be misshapen enough where they wont’ suction properly, BUT I haven’t tried them yet so I can’t say for sure, it’s working just fine without the suction cups.

Make sure of your correct size windshield.
The sunscreen itself is extremely well made and looks to be very durable. I love the color. However, the screen is just too big for my SUV windshield, I had a hard time getting it to fit the windshield. Otherwise, I would happily keep it and enjoy it for a long time to come. Unfortunately, I’m going to have to send it back and hopefully get one just a bit smaller.

Excellent coverage good value
Living in sunny Florida the sunshade is as important as wearing sunglasses. I have tried many types but saw this listing come up on Amazon so took a chance with it. The product is firm, yet flexible. Clkur was nice. It was easy to position and held its shape. The fit was nearly custom. They provide Velcro leashes to secure it to your visor. Very thoughtful and functional. It’s thicker than my last one. But medium weight 2 pounds, maybe? It filled my windshield and completely blocked the sun. Good value to. I chose aqua to blend with my car. A year later us still as good as when I unboxed it…

I’m very pleased with this sun shield. I have an Outback and the blue one fits and looks great! The quality is good, thicker and stronger than expected. Keeps the car cooler for sure, and folds easily with a handy clip to keep tidy. It’s oversized in the sense that it comes up the sides slightly for thorough coverage and can easily be tucked a bit into position. Use visors to keep top in place. It’s not meant for perfectly snug fit.. be sure to check sizes to suit – should generally be a good fit for the size sedan or suv you have. I had the umbrella style before, and although it was tapered to spread larger on bottom (in alignment with the windshield) it was much more flimsy and eventually the spokes broke away from nylon 🫤 so I am happy to have this new stronger one that will last! 👍

PROS:1. No hassle trying to figure out how to fold this thing back down like the ones with the foldable wire. This is quick and easy.2. When you first use it, it will seem too big. To install correctly, you will need to move your seat back to allow you slide the cover at an angle towards where the dash and windshield meets.3. Use your visors to hold in place.4. Nice appearance.5. Easy to fold back up and holds its shape.6. Does a great job keeping the interior of a dark car, with black leather interior, atleast 20° cooler in the Texas heat.CONS:1. Do not use suction cups. They will leave a permanent ring, the silicone will melt and leave a residue on your windshield. Common sense, so this seller should just get rid of this feature.

Great Quality Visor for Florida Sun
Although this item was much more than the others, it is certainly worth it! Thick and sturdy, not like the last one I bought at Walmart, it was too flimsy and thin to keep the Florida sun & heat out. Worth every penny.

UPDATED REVIEW – NOT Heavy duty!
Original review below. One year later this has grown weak. I come out to my car to consistently find it has collapsed and the car is exposed and hot. It’s showing a break down from the sun and heat. This just isn’t holding up as it should after just one and a half summers of use. I have to find a replacement now. Very disappointing.I’ve had my old sunshield for years and it finally started to wear out. So … broke down and purchased this as a replacement. WOW! What a huge improvement! Not only is it beautiful (love the blue), but it is very sturdy and really blocks the sun so much better than my old one. It fits the windshield so well I don’t need to use the suction cups (2012 Chev Impala). It folds back up easily and if I’m not going to use it right away, I use the strap to keep it from flopping around in the car. I’m absolutely thrilled with this purchase!!! Couldn’t recommend it enough!!
