Was doubtful but pleasantly surprised.Drove my SUV round trip to Ala (1,775 miles).My weight is 320 and it made the ride comfortable.It was (or it could have been my backside) starting to fail upon my return home. I ordered this car seat cushion for my RV camper van. I am in the process of selling my home and moving into Van Life full time. I will be driving sometimes hundreds of miles a day and wanted something more conforming and comfortable to sit on for long drives. I am someone who suffers from degenerative disc disease, and back & hip pain, and this seat really helps take pressure off my pain points, while still providing firmness and support.I like how the seat has a band that will stretch and wrap around my driver seat to help hold it in place. It really does make driving more comfortable and I have since ordered a second one for the passenger seat.

Comfortable for Long Drives with a Few Trade‑Offs
I received this car seat cushion through the Amazon Vine program, and my wife and I put it to a serious test on a 16‑hour road trip from Louisiana to Nebraska.My wife has sciatica, and this cushion made a noticeable difference in her comfort over long stretches of driving. She was able to stay seated for extended periods without the usual discomfort, which alone made this cushion feel worthwhile. The added seat height was another unexpected benefit, especially in a smaller car—it improved visibility and made the driving position feel more natural.From my perspective, the cushion may be slightly on the soft side, which could be a pro or con depending on preference. That said, the wraparound design provided solid lower back support, something I really appreciated on such a long trip. The coccyx cutout also worked as intended and relieved pressure on my tailbone, which helped reduce soreness by the end of each day.The cushion flares out under the legs, adding comfort while seated, but there is a small downside: because of the extra width and softness, it made me feel a bit unstable getting in and out of the car. I’m a bigger guy, and while it was very comfortable once seated, entry and exit took a little adjustment.Overall, this cushion significantly improved comfort on a very long drive, especially for anyone dealing with sciatica or tailbone pressure. It’s not perfect, but the support and relief it provides outweigh the minor drawbacks.

Not made for short people
I’m sure this cushion is great if you’re tall. I am 5’2″ and my legs are very uncomfortable when sitting. The cushioning is actually very nice. I was hoping to really like it.

Pain Free Travel
Nice and cushy. Good lumbar support for me. I am in need of a hip replacement and riding long distance to visit the grandkids can be quite an ordeal by the time I get there. I just did 300 miles with this cushion and I am totally flabbergasted at the fact that I had NO PAIN upon arrival. I wish I had this cushion before, but now that I have it, I feel blessed. It has made such a world of difference for me. It also is great in that it has a belt that goes around the back of the seat and snugs it into place so that the cushion isn’t shifting around. It also boosts me just a little so that I sit a bit higher. All in all, a very well designed cushion.
